Olivia's POV:

It's the day of the party and I have absolutely nothing to wear. I quickly phoned Rachel and 15 minutes later she was here.

"Have no fear, Rachel is here!" She shouted.

"Hey, thanks for helping me," I hugged her.

"Anything for my bestie!" she smiled. "So, go on, what are your options?"

I went to my wardrobe and I picked two items. The first was a black sleeveless bodycon dress with black knee high boots and the second was a black and white jumpsuit with a black leather jacket and black high heels. It's very clear that my wardrobe consists of mainly black clothing. I tried on the bodycon dress and it fitted quite well. Because I'm quite curvy and the dress was a bit short, I felt uncomfortable. I walked out the bathroom to show Rachel my outfit.

"Girl, you look amazing!" she squealed. "You'll be turning heads in that outfit missy."

"Thanks, but don't you think it's a little bit too short for a party with coworkers?"

"Hm, just a little," she said gesturing with her hand

"Well I guess option two is the outfit then," I replied walking back to the bathroom

"Tada!," I said walking back into the bedroom

"This is perfect for tonight. You look great Livvy!" Rachel smiled

The jumpsuit was quite fitted, not too tight or too loose. I rarely wear tight clothing, I always wear loose clothing because I'm insecure about my body and that's what I feel most comfortable in. My co-workers have never seen me in anything like this and will be a shock to them.

Rachel helped me get my hair done. Having extremely curly hair was terrible because it's always a tangled mess. After my hair was finished, Rachel dropped me off at the party.

"Bye, have a nice time! Try not to bump into Dan!" she said as she sped off. As soon as she said that, I remembered that Dan works with me now and he might be there. Crap. I walked up to the door, knocked four times and I was greeted by James.

"Olivia! I'm glad you could make it, you look great," he smiled letting me in.

"Thank you."

I walked in and everyone suddenly stopped what they were doing and all eyes were on me. I could feel my whole body going hot and I just wanted to turn around and go home. Just ignore them. I sat down next to Claire on the sofa.

"Hey, Olivia you look really good tonight," She smiled

"Thank you, so do you," I replied sipping my drink

Claire and I speak quite often but we don't talk outside of work which is sad because we have a lot of things in common. I talk to some of my coworkers but it's the same situation as Claire, we only talk during work hours.

I chatted with a few people and as the hours went by I started getting tipsy. I staggered outside into James's garden and I bumped into someone. I looked up and it was Dan. Great, why do I always bump into him?  "Sorry," we both said at the same time.

"This is the second time this has happened," he nervously laughed

"Yeah, hopefully, it'll be the last time," I replied as I pushed past him. "You know I'm still angry at what you did," I said as I sat down on a bench.

"You're angry at me? I should be the one that's still angry. You accused me of something that I didn't do and I lost my job because of you!" He shouted. Clearly, he was drunk.

"Well, I think you deserved that!" I said raising my voice. "Do you remember what you said about me? Made me look like I was sleeping with every guy on campus!" I said, slapping him.
Maybe slapping him was a bit much, but who cares.

"Oww, that really hurt," he said holding his cheek and trying to keep his balance.

He walked closer to me and our faces were an inch apart. I could smell the alcohol on his breath and also his cologne. His face showed anger but soon relaxed and was now staring into my soul. I was about to walk away until I felt his arm around my waist and pulled me even closer to him and before you know it we were locking lips. He pushed me against the wall and slowly began kissing my neck.

"Let's take this somewhere else."

Oooh where do you think they are going? Thank you for reading! :)
