Chapter 9

Olivia's POV

After Dan and I kissed, we left the pub and said our goodbyes. It felt kind of weird telling Dan how I felt about him.As soon as I got home, I took my shoes off, got changed into my pyjamas and laid in bed. As I was about fall asleep, I got a text message from Dan.

"Hey, today was great hopefully we can do it again soon x"

"Yeah, it was. We can have lunch together tomorrow if you fancy? x"

"Yeah, that's cool. I'll let you get some sleep and I'll see you tomorrow. Good night x"

"Good night. X"

I got comfortable again in bed then my phone went off again but this time it was Rachel.

"Hey, how did it go with you know who?"

"Hiya, yeah it went great and he said that he likes me."

"I knew he liked you! And what did you say!?"

"I told him I liked him too, then we kissed."

"I knew it! Aww, you two make a cute couple anyway."

"Well we're not a couple yet Rachel and we're not even dating."

"Oh, but it will happen soon though, trust me. ;)"

"Ugh, I'm going to bed, I'll talk to you tomorrow."

I got comfortable in bed again and slowly fell asleep.

I met up with Dan for lunch and we went to a little coffee shop. The inside looked quite cosy and it smelled of freshly brewed coffee.

"Wow, this is nice," I said.

"I know, I come here every day for lunch," Dan replied.

we sat down in a window seat and looked at the menu.

"what are you thinking of getting?" Dan asked

"Well. I was thinking of getting a chai latte with a grilled ham and cheese sandwich. What about you?" I replied

"Nice. I'm gonna get a caffe latte and a cheese and tomato baguette," he said smiling.

We ordered our lunch and sat back down.

"So... I wanna know what we are, you know like are we dating or?" Dan asked after an awkward silence

"Hmm, I dunno, we haven't been on any dates yet," I replied

"That's true. well um, would you like to go on a date with me on Saturday?" He asked nervously

I actually didn't think he would ask that quick.

"Yeah, that would be great," I smiled.

Our lunch finally came and we both ate quickly because we were gonna be late back for work.

Work was finished and Dan and I headed to the car park.

"It was nice having lunch with you today," he smiled.

"Me too. Same again tomorrow?"

"Yeah, definitely," he laughed

Before I got into my car, he grabbed my arm and pulled me towards him and kissed me. The kissed felt great, it felt liked he kissed with more passion than the last time.

"I'll see you tomorrow," he said giving me one last kiss before walking towards his car.
