Chapter 7

Olivia's POV:

I can't believe he kissed me! As I was thinking about what just happened, my phone began ringing. I looked at the caller ID and it was Rachel. 

"Hi, Rachel," I answered.

"Hey, how are y-. wait what's wrong?" she asked with worry in her voice.

"Um...Dan kissed me."

"WHAT! Did you kiss him back?"

"Yeah, I didn't mean to, I was just so shocked that I didn't pull away the second it happened."

"Mhmm, if you say so."

"Rachel! please say that you believe me because I don't like him in that way."

"Well, I'm sorry to say but I don't. I think you wanted the kiss as well."

"No, I didn't want him to kiss me!"

"Oh, but I think you did," she teased. "I can tell when people like each other and you and Dan definitely like each other."

"Ugh, can we please change the topic?"

"Yeah, sure but this conversation is not finished! Do you wanna meet up for coffee at Starbucks later?"

"Yeah, say about 3?"

"Cool, I will see you then!"

I can't be falling for Dan right? I will admit he is really good looking but we are just friends.  It was half 2 now and I needed to get ready to meet Rachel. I hopped in the shower and got changed into a black skater dress and a pair of black boots then I jumped in my car.

I got to Starbucks and I see Rachel sitting in a window seat. She waved at me before I entered. I ordered a chai latte and made my way to where Rachel was sitting.

"Hey, how are you?" I said as I sat down opposite her. 

"Hey Livvy, I'm doing okay thanks. Now back to you and Dan," she smirked.

"Ugh, you're never gonna let this go, are you?

"Nope. have you spoken to him since?" 

"No, I haven't."

"You two should go out," Rachel suggested.

"What! No Rachel!"

"No, not like that. I meant just have a few drinks and try to get past what happened."

"Hmm, I guess so. I'll text him later and see what he says."

After having a coffee, we talked a bit more then we went window shopping as usual.

I got home then had a shower and got changed in my pyjamas. I was very hesitant to text dan but I did anyway.

"Hey, how are you?" I sent

"Hey, not too bad and yourself?" he asked

"I'm good thanks. I was wondering if you fancied meeting up for a drink tomorrow?"

It took a while before he replied 

"Yeah, that sounds wicked!"

"Cool, is 4 0'clock at the pub good?"

"Yeah, that's fine."

"Great, I'll see you then"

Hey, sorry I  haven't updated in a while, I went to Slovakia with my university. But I will try to upload more often! And also sorry that this chapter is short. Thanks for reading and tell me what you think of the story so far! :)
