Elec Travis POV 

"What are you doing Bear?" My husband had decided to take our small child up into a tree. "I'm showing our son the view from up here." "He doesn't know the difference. He is only a few months old and I know it's time for me to feed him." He started coming down the tree at a fast pace and I cringed my teeth. "Don't do that." I took John, our son, from Bear as I walked back towards our cabin. I watched all the other wives sitting next to the fire with the rest of the children. My insecurities set in as I saw all of them. All the other wives have had children, more than one for a few, I only had one and I haven't lost my baby weight yet. I was already a curvier girl but then add the baby weight. It really set in to the thought that Bear hasn't really touched me since I started to show. I sat down on our bed and I lowered my shirt. I watched as my son enjoyed his meal and I saw just fat on my body. The film crew was filming Bird's date in town for the day. I stared out the window that looked upon the beach. Bear came inside and I watched him washing his hands. "Ma wanted me to tell you that the other wives were helping with dinner. They said that you needed to rest and take care of the baby." He didn't even look at me as he came over to my side of the bed. My shirt was open to reveal both of my breasts and he didn't even look at me. "I'm about to put him to bed if you want to join me in ours?" "Maybe tomorrow, we have to feed Sebrina and the chickens." He ran out of the house when I noticed that John had pulled his mouth away. He was already asleep when I laid him down next to me. I turned to my side to watch him and fell asleep myself minutes later.

Bear POV

I was chopping wood to replenish the fire when Bam walked towards me. "What are you doing out here?" "What does it look like?" "My wife is helping ma cook dinner so you could spend some time with your wife." "What do you mean? I talk to her every day." "No, I mean that Elec Travis has told the girls that she doesn't feel beautiful for you anymore. She is comparing herself to all the other girls that were on show. She feels like she isn't skinny enough for you anymore because of the baby." I stood up from the pile of wood. "She hasn't told me that before." "You are the only one that doesn't see it but that is your wife." I thought about what he had said as I ran towards our cabin. I noticed both of them were asleep when I picked up the baby to put him in his crib. I moved around on the bed until her head was laying on my chest. She stirred in her sleep and I saw her eyes staring up at me. "The baby is in his crib. I wanted to spend some time with my beautiful wife." She pulled herself closer to me as I held her tight. I kissed her beautiful red hair. "I think you are the most beautiful woman on the planet. I believe that you get even more beautiful with every passing day. You gave me a son and I couldn't be more thankful. I don't want you to compare yourself to any of my other girlfriends. I chose to marry you and it was the greatest day of my life, besides the day that our son was born." I felt tears going through my buck tee. "I didn't want you to cry." "I love you so much Bear." "I love you too."
