I was drinking the last of my tea and Brian grabbed our plates, putting them in the sink. He put his hands on my shoulders and squeezed them, speaking against the shell of my ear. "When you finish your tea, meet me in the living room." With that, he scurried away.
Walking into the living room, I saw Brian sitting on the couch with his guitar in hand. He was lightly struming on the strings and I took a seat beside him. "I call her 'Red Special'." He spoke without taking his eyes off the body. "D'you wanna hear her?" I nodded my head in excitement as he stood up, plugging her in and danced his fingers across her strings. The room filled with the joyous sound of a Beatles riff. He held his head down in determination as he slid his hand down her neck. He's amazing. I was lost in the sounds bouncing through the room, I almost didn't notice him sit back down beside me. When the music stopped, I looked at him in amazement. "Wow." That's all I could say. I felt this over-joyful since of pride bubbling inside me. He pulled the guitar off of him and set it on its stand. Before he even turned back around, I pulled my arms around his waist hugging him from behind. He giggled and rubbed his hands along my arms. I spoke softly in his ear before letting him go. "I want to take you to my place and show you my drums." He smiled and kissed me on my nose. "I thought you'd never ask."
