New Year’s came and went so fast I felt like the whole holiday was a blur; Craig and I were working things out. I still had some doubts that he wouldn’t turn around and do the same thing he’d done before, but he worked to show me every day of the week that he was only thinking about me. I was finally starting to let go of the doubts I had and just live in the moment, the way I used too.

I loved Craig, and I didn’t want him to go away again. I wanted him with me as long as it was humanly possible. We constantly talked about Mason, because now I had two months left.  My due date was on March Second, well that’s when they assumed my water would break, and I had already told them I didn’t want to be induced. It was weird but I wanted Mason to come out when he was ready. No matter how uncomfortable I was, and I was uncomfortable.

Gab had already planned out the shower, sent out invitations and everything a few days before Christmas. It was going to be on January 4th, today, at 3 because she was sure people would be out of town until now. I didn’t argue with her about anything, she wanted to plan this for me so I let her. She’d already told me that Bryan Stars would be here to do an interview with me Aaron, Bryan, and Micheal after the shower was over. Because seriously, Bryan’s interviews are like three hours long, and I wouldn’t want to do an interview in the middle of the shower and then miss the whole thing.

When Daniel found out that Craig and I were back together, I was surprised to find that he was really happy for me. I thought he would think it would be bad for publicity or something, but he seemed to have a change of mind. Now he thought it would be great for publicity, he actually wanted me to let Bryan include Craig in the interview so that we would be out there as a couple.

I’d talked to Craig about it and he’d agreed immediately, claiming that he wanted the whole world to know how crazy he was about me. Which only served to make me laugh at his over dramatic answer and then kiss him because he was the sweetest guy ever.

Max had been ecstatic that we were back together, but you figure he’s be the one pushing against it because of how hard it was on me when we broke up the first time, I guess he was confident that nothing would go wrong this time. And I really hoped that nothing would go wrong.

I had just finished getting ready for the shower; I was wearing a pair of purple skinnies, a black t-shirt that fit tightly but it looked good. I had on my boots and my hair was curled and my make-up was normal. I was surprised to find I was pleased with my appearance today, I usually hated anything I put on because it made me look larger, but I guess I liked it because it’s a baby shower, people are supposed to be able to see the baby bump.

I had just slipped the ring Craig gave me back onto my ring finger when my door cracked open and I saw Gab’s head peek in.

“Hey, people are starting to show up, you can come down now.” She smiled at me and I nodded.

She’d made me hide upstairs while they got everything ready; I guess she wanted it to be a surprise as to what it would look like. I made my way over to her and she linked her arm through mine as we walked down the stairs.

I smiled when I saw the banner that read “It’s a boy!” I was expecting the house to reek baby but it didn’t. There was a table set up in the dining room that had a black table cloth with blue ribbon tide around it, a big blue bow hung in the front middle. There were cups and plates on the table all of them had the name “Mason” printed on them in really gorgeous font.

There were black and blue balloons everywhere, along with a table of food, and drink that had the same table cloth and bow that the first one had, there was also another empty table that I was assuming was for gifts… In the living room they’d moved the furniture around and made the already humongous living room look that much bigger. I saw that there was a black rocking chair in the room with a banner that said ‘Momma’s Chair’ in blue letters, I laughed at that. There was another chair next to that one, that was identical to the other, but this one said ‘Daddy’s Chair’.
