Mending The Bad Boy

Chapter 20

I quickly sat up and breathed heavily.
It was all just a dream....

No Alex. No Shawn. No motion sensitive side...

But I wasn't in a hospital bed or anything.

I'm laying on a cot, in the middle of a cell, my hands cuffed to the rail on the side.

I take the hobby pin out of my hair and slip it into the hand cuff.
It unlocks and I slip out of the bed.

The cold, dark door is tall and made of steel but it's not locked.
I twist the handle and open it slowly.

The air hits my face as I creep out of the room.

Looking both ways, I notice the coast is clear and start to look for a way out.

I walk to a door that leads to a staircase.

Down the staircase, I open a door to Shawn's main room.

He was standing there next to someone. But I couldn't make out who it was because their back is turned towards me.

Damien and Seth are standing there with their arms crossed scowling at the man as he's yelling and waving his arms around. Shawn just stands there lookin amused as the guy throws a tantrum.

Big glass windows covered the room, so there was no way I was getting out of here unnoticed.

Maybe I could just-

"Shawn!" I look up and see Damien point and smirk looking at me. With that Seth and him started to run after me.

I in the door and back up the stairs, their feet just inches away from me and hands trying to catch my arms.

Big hands finally catch my arm just before I hit the door at the top.

I turn to see Damien smirking at me.

"You didn't honestly  think you'd get too far did you?" He asks.

Pulling me down the staircase, he brings me to Shawn with Seth walking behind us.

"Look what we've got here." Shawn says walking around the man who continued to keep his back towards me.

I glare at Shawn as he stands in front of me crossing his arms and snickering.

"Well, I'd be lying if I thought that the room would hold you for long." He says sighing.

"I wasn't even locked." I say without expression.

He gets close to my face and whispers in my ear, his hot breathe ticking me.

"That's why I said I thought the room wouldn't hold you for long." He says and pulls away after kissing my cheek.

Roll my eyes at him.

"Bull snot!" I yell at him.

"I can see why you would want to get away." Shawn says to the man and then smiles evilly back at me.

I look curiously at Shawn.

"Oh how rude of me to not introduce one of my friends Annie." He says pulling me close to him, making me face the man.

"If it's one of your friends, I don't want to meet them." I say turning to Shawn.

"Now Annie my love, I think you might want to meet this one." He says centimeters from my face.

"Call me that again and I slice your tongue out." I say trying to push him away but he grabs my arms.

"Do you always have to be so dramatic sweetheart ?" He asks. "Now, back to business love.

Ugh...

I pull out of his arms and start to run but Damien catches me.

"Your so stupid!" He says chuckling.

" And your President Snows' cousin." I mumble.

"Your psychotic." He says annoyingly.

"Your a cheap brand of gross cheese!" I yell.

"Enough!" I hear a familiar voice yell.

I freeze in my place.

Seth sticks his tongue out at me.

"I said enough!" The voice yells again.

I turn around slowly to see the face of the angry stranger.

He had a black tee shirt on.
Black/Brown hair.
An expressionless face.
Jeans.
Car keys hanging out the back pocket
Hat on backwards.

Somehow I felt like this would be a good thing. But at the same time, I felt like the bad over took the good.

Because there stood my rock, my best friend,my blanket, my teddy bear, my significant other, my comforter,.. my man, my bad boy, the one that's needs then be mended...

The one I cried myself to sleep over many dark nights....

My husband.

There he stood just staring at me.

"Hi Annie." He says with his voice almost breaking at the end.

"Hi Danny." I say with hesitation.
