Writer's Whispers

Writer's block #2

To write a poem is what I desire,

But there's nothing sparking the fire.

I'm in need of a lighter,

To ignite some deep pondering,

Because, I want to be a tough fighter,

Against writer's block and it's scheming.

I need to write about something,

Because my mind's thinking about everything -

But I just want to focus solely on one thought,

Before overthinking makes me nought.

Someone, help rekindle old contemplations:

The ones about future plans and decisions.

Help me escape from these loud and untiring voices,

That are trying to keep me from making or having any choices.

Someone light up some ideas in my mind,

So that my writing skills can be refined.

Seriously, just give me something to write about,

Because I'm tired of thinking and in my mind, no one can hear me shout.
