Taylor stood beside the grave, in silence.

She couldn't believe the woman who was a queen to her, the woman who once drove her to a town in the middle of nowhere to forget the bullies, the woman who raised her and taught her about fairies and santa, was gone.

Andrea Swift

She stared at her mother's name on the grave, shut her eyes tight and walked away, stuffing her hands in her coat pocket.

It wasn't until she got back to the car that she started to sob again.
But she wiped away the tears as soon as her brother walked towards the car.

"Ready to go?" He said as he opened the car door.

"Yeah please, thanks Austin"

She sighed as Austin drove through the Pennsylvanian town. It was raining and it hit off the roof of the car and ran down the outside. It's like the sky was also mourning for the world's loss of Andrea.

Austin dropped Taylor back to the hotel she was staying in "Are you sure you don't want to come home?" he asked.

"No. No, no i'm fine. Thank you Austin" she gave him a tiny smile.

"You're welcome Tay, love you" he rolled up the window and drove off as Taylor sadly waved him goodbye.

She trudged, soaking, into the hotel lobby and took of her coat and hat. Thankfully, her hair was still reasonably okay looking so she went into the hotel bar for a drink.

She was just about to order a glass of wine when someone caught her eye. She looked and she looked again. No. No, it wasn't him.

She took a seat on one of the stools and silently prayed to god that he wouldn't see her. But he did.

"Taylor?"

"Hello Harry" she said

"Wow Tay. Four years no call."

"Don't call me that" she glared at him.

He put his hands up "Woah sorry."

She pursed her lips and ordered a drink. She decided that a vodka shot would do the trick. She needed something strong to deal with this fucker.

"So how have you been?" Harry still hadn't left.

"Fine, been looking after my cats and...yeah" An awkward silence followed her sentence.

Harry stood, rolling on the balls of his feet. He didn't want to leave but clearly, Taylor didn't want him there.

Taylor downed the shot and asked for two more when she saw that Harry still hadn't left.

"What do you want Harry?" she spat at him.

"You. I want you Taylor. I still love you"

Taylor groaned "Harry, this is really exhausting, please don't" she drank the second shot.

"Taylor, stop" he placed his hand over hers before she reached for the third shot "Can you please listen to me? Please?"

She sighed. What had she to lose? "Fine" she said.

"Taylor, i'm sorry. I never meant to break your heart. I said I needed space, I know. But I never meant to lose you forever. I want you back Taylor please I still love you" he was begging her.

Taylor found that pathetic. She drank the third vodka and ordered three more. "Harry" she began "We are never getting back together. Like ever"

She downed two more shots and then started to feel a bit tipsy. Harry was still begging but he was beginning to sound like an annoying noise in her mind. Harry then realised she was drunk and there was no use talking to her now.

"Harry, fuck off" she slurred

"No Taylor, you're not listening, you're pissed, come on, what room are you in?"

"13" The drink was going to her head.

"Come on" he wrapped her arm around him and dragged her to the first floor and then he dragged her to room thirteen.

"Goodnight Taylor" he said as he tucked her in bed. He took a chance and softly kissed her lips. He didn't expect her to kiss him back.

(I never trust a narcissist but they love me)

She pulled him down on top of her and deepened the kiss. Harry felt bad, he knew she was just pissed. He pulled away.

"I have to go Taylor, goodbye" and he left.

And the only noise in the room that Taylor could hear was silence.
