Taylor gazed out the window as the rain poured down. It ran down the glass window and beat off the roof and landed on the ground, forming puddles. She had a banging headache now.

Tucking some hair behind her ear, she picked up her phone, gazing at the message she'd sent Harry, explaining how it was wrong of her to kiss him.

She waited until she got to the next stop and she got off. She needed to go for a walk.

She went outside, carefully stepping off the train. It was still raining, however, it was no longer pouring. The water drops fell so fast and they were light, almost invisible. But they's still cut you to the bone.

Taylor walked alongside the train tracks, just beside the canal. A train rushed past her, the destination unknown.

She had missed Harry. He honestly wasn't like anyone she had ever dated before. They'd just gotten along really well. But she loved Ashley.

Her phone buzzed in her pocket. She took it out and a single sentence flashed on the screen. "But I still love you Taylor"

Tears burned in her eyes as she thought about Ashley. Her lovely Ashley.

As she walked alongside the canal, she remembered the dream she had the night before. She had met her in warm conversation and they just spoke and laughed and she was smiling. She was happy with Ashley. Then, she woke up, with the memory of Harry's lips on hers.

There was so much distance between them right now and the timing was all wrong. What happened the night previous was all wrong.

Taylor broke down. She cried as she realised she loved Ashley and now, she destroyed that.

Her phone rang. It was Ashley. Fuck.

"Hey Ash" she wiped her eyes.

"Hey Tay, are you okay?" She knew something was wrong.

"Nothing...I'm fine"

Silence.

"Um. I uh was just calling to make sure you were okay"

"I'm okay"

"Okay"

More silence.

"Well, uh bye tay, see you soon. I'll pick you up"

"Bye"

The line went dead.
