After waiting on the platform for over two hours, Ashley finally saw Taylor get off the train.
She hoped she had put enough makeup on to cover the lovely hickey Aria had left on her neck.
Ashley woke up that morning in the motel, very confused and sore and when she saw Aria by her side, she started to cry uncontrollably. She didn't mean to drink so much. She meant to be home by ten. She didn't mean to fuck another girl.
God, she was an idiot wasn't she?
Taylor would never forgive her.
Taylor smiled sadly when she saw Ashley. Ashley's smile mirrored Taylor's as she went to give her an awkward hug. But Taylor felt so familiar in her arms and she couldn't help but melt into her body and hug her tighter.
She loved Taylor. And she regretted every moment with Aria.
But Ashley knew she had to face the music and tell Taylor.
They broke apart "I have to tell you something" they both said at the same time. Ashley was surprised.
Being the chicken that she is, Ashley said "You go first"
Taylor made a face "Can we go for a coffee? I'm dying for a one"
Ashley nodded and together, they walked to the small coffee shop beside the station.
Taylor ordered two coffees and carefully placed them onto the table, trying not to spill the contents of either.
"So tell me" Ashley said, taking a sip of her coffee, wincing as it burnt her tongue slightly.
Taylor gulped. Ashley was going to hate her. She kissed someone behind her girlfriend's back. No, not someone. A fucking boy. Not any boy, her fucking ex.
She sipped her coffee and cleared her throat "I did something bad."
"What did you do?"
"I met Harry and I got drunk and I kissed him" a single tear rolled down Taylor's cheek.
Ashley leaned over and wiped the tear away. She wanted to cry too.
"I did something bad too"
"What did you do?" Taylor said, crying a little now.
"I met a girl and we fucked"
Taylor dropped the cup of coffee on the floor "What?"
Ashley started crying as a girl came over to clean up the broken cup and the scalding coffee currently residing on the floor "I...met a girl...n-named Aria and we...fucked" she said, in between sobs.
Rage filled Taylor's eyes "YOU SAID YOU LOVED ME" she shouted, causing everyone to turn towards them "YOU SAID YOU FUCKING LOVED ME"
"I DO"
"THEN WHY WOULD YOU CHEAT ON ME?"
"YOU KISSED YOUR EX" Ashley squealed
"YOU FUCKED ANOTHER GIRL, IT'S NOT THE SAME THING" Taylor banged her fist against the table.
Ashley started sobbing at this point.
Tears escaped Taylor's eyes too and she ran out of the coffee shop, leaving Ashley sobbing in the middle of the coffee shop.
Ashley kept sobbing as she also ran out of the shop after Taylor but she was too late. Taylor was already gone.
