Taylor and Ashley sat on Taylor's couch. Olivia lay, asleep, beside Taylor while Meredith sat in front of Ashley purring as she got stroked softly.
"Mere hates people, she really likes you Ash" Taylor said quietly.
Ashley didn't know if she was quiet because the shy side was coming out again or because she was trying not to wake the cat. Probably not to wake the cat.
"I'm glad I have the cat's approval" Ashley smiled.
Taylor turned on the tv and started switching stations with the remote in one hand and a half eaten cookie in the other. Ashley sat, bemused, stroking the cat and staring at the tv screen.
"Oh! Leave that on!" She said, as Taylor flicked off 'Big Hero 6'.
"Oh I love this movie!" Taylor said, loudly, resulting in the cat waking up and glaring at her.
"Sorry Liv" she whispered.
Ashley took a fit of laughter, which earned her a glare from Olivia but she thought it was worth it.
She moved over on the couch so she was beside Taylor, however Olivia was in the way.
"Liv, mind moving?" The cat just stared at her, while Meredith meowed in protest.
After some thought, Olivia jumped off the couch, with Meredith hot on her heels.
"Thank you Meredith!!" Ashley called after the cat and she moved another bit so she was right beside Taylor, who was in stitches of laughter.
"Oh my god, I fucking love you Ashley" she laughed.
Ashley gasped "You swore!"
Taylor blushed "Sorry"
"Don't be sorry, you need to swear more often, it's kinda hot."
"Oh really?" Taylor raised an eyebrow at Ashley.
"Really"
(My reputation's never been worse so...she must like me for me.)
Taylor put her arm around Ashley and let her lean into her and the two of them lay on the couch in silence. They may have looked as if they were watching the movie but really, they were just thinking about each other.
