I walked into the hotel room that I had to share with 3 of my other teammates, Jenna, Lexi, and Mary.

I set my bag down on the ground and face-planted onto the bed.

I was at a cheer competition that was in Austin, Texas. Our competition is tomorrow and I'm so nervous.

I've never performed in front of that many people.

I stood up and checked the time.

5:32 pm

Well, I have the rest of the day free.

What should I do?

My thoughts were interrupted by a text.

Colbs😍💗: whatcha doin?

I smiled and replied.

Ally: I just got done with rehearsal, you?

Colbs😍💗: besides missing you, nothing

Ally: stahp it 😊

Colbs😍💗: well, I gotta go, but good luck for tomorrow

Ally: thank u, love you 💕

I set my phone down and sighed.

"What's wrong Ally?" Jenna asked me.

I turned around and faced her.

"Oh, nothing's wrong. That wasn't a sad sigh, that was a 'I love my boyfriend' sigh." I replied.

She chuckled and nodded.

My stomach started rumbling.

"I'm gonna go get some food, you guys wanna come?" I asked them

"Sure." Lexi relied.

"Nah, I'm good." Mary replied.

"I'm literally starving, let's go!" Jenna replied.

The three of us headed to the door of the hotel room. We closed it behind us and started walking towards the elevator.

The elevator arrived and the doors opened.

"Colby!?!" I practically shouted.

He was standing in the elevator and he started blushing.

"It was supposed to be a surprise, Ally." He said.

I laughed and jumped into his arms.
