Savannah's POV
***************Albus quietly sat next to me. We were both in shock. I looked over at the Griffindor table and saw James sadly smiling at as. He was disappointed. The love for Slytherins must still be lacking.
I don't remember talking at all. People were happy to be in houses but I've ended up in Slytherin. I know it isn't a bad house but I can't see me as a snake at all. Albus should've been Ravenclaw or something. Nothing to change I guess.
I went to the common room (which was in the dungeons next to potions behind a cleverly placed picture was). The password was mimicking whatever the portrait said. It was quite annoying. I stayed in the common room waiting for it to clear out.
In the middle of the night, Albus and I were the only remaining.
"So.... Slytherin." I started.
"Yeah, James must be disappointed." Albus stated.
We both sat in silence for a few minutes. Before I smiled.
"I guess whatever's left is to bring up Slytherin's reputation." I laugh.
Albus grinned.
"No kidding. Sorry for yelling at you before the sorting."
"Hey, I yelled too." I mumble.
He rose his eyebrow. "What was that Savvy?"
I groaned.
"It's Savannah, Prince Ali." I hissed.
Albus's expression hardened.
"Touché."
"I guess we should go to bed and sleep." I stated.
We did quite the opposite. We stayed up talking until two minutes before three. I was half asleep when I reached my bed. The covers felt like heaven. Jitter cuddled up to me, and fell asleep on my stomach.
I curled around him and closed my own eyes. It was peaceful. I felt restful and happy when those eyes opened. Though I only had four hours of sleep, I felt way more energized than the other Slytherins. I was grinning ear to ear on the way to breakfast.
Hogwarts may be the worst name ever, the thought of this school brought great and dreamy thoughts into my brain. Albus sat next to me, seeming as he was to scared to talk to other Slytherins.
"How was your sleep Albus?" I asked coolly.
He smiled brightly."Best sleep ever."
My grin grew fuller. I must have looked like the joker.
"I feel like I've received an average amount." I stated.
We laughed at my "smarts" and continued eating. The waffles were amazing to say the least, and that buttermilk syrup hit the spot.
Soon, Albus and I left to find our classes in the maze of our school.
