"You could have saved me!" Her mum spat.
Her words hit Savannah like a cannon shot. She fell limp on the ground. Tears filling Savannah's eyes.
"Mum.."
"You are no child of mine!" Mum screamed.
Bellatrix and dad came up behind her. Savannah's eyes grew with fear.
"What?" She whispered.
The Adults grinned and pulled out wands.
"Mum, you're a witch?" Savannah questioned.
Her mum answered with the cruciatious curse. Savannah screamed and yelled in agony.
Soon the adults were all kicking the young girl's limbs. She tossed and turned, not being able to escape.
"Goodbye mum. See ya later."
"Are you okay?!" A girl screamed.
"Huh?" I whispered squinting.
It was one of my roommates, she actually looked worried. I sat up and touched my face, it was wet. I've been crying. I put my face to my knees.
"Hopefully." I finally replied.
She sat on my bed and smiled.
"I'm Courtney, a first year."
"Savannah, Same year." I told her.
She grinned and forced my knees down to look at my face. I didn't stop her, I didn't think anything negative about my body.
"Did you have a nightmare? You screamed so many times." Courtney explained.
"Yeah." I whispered.
She didn't ask about it. Maybe she heard me speaking too. After all, it was my fault. Mum died because I left.
Courtney broke me out of my thoughts.
"You know, I think we could be friends. What are your hobbies?"
I laughed. Someone might care. Albus and I could have another friend.
"Ummm, I love reading and Charms. What pet dos you bring if any?"
"A baby kitten."
"Me too!" I exclaim.
We both laughed.
"What's your kitty's name?" Courtney asked.
"Jibber, yours?" I smiled.
"Mine is named Giggle!"
We talked for hours, until my alarm rang, it's 8 o'clock.
"We better get to Double Potions." I told her.
Courtney nodded. We both missed break fast and went to our first class. I sat next to Albus smiling like an idiot.
"Guess what?" I whispered.
Albus raised an eyebrow.
"We have a potential friend in front of us. The girl with the black hair." I muttered.
Albus smiled, I had no idea what he was trying to imply. My grin faded when I spotted that potion Slughorn made. I grimaced. Later I ruined Albus's and I's potion. I poured the unicorn hairs in before the water, cut the rat tail vertically, and stirred the brew way to long.
"What are you doing?" Albus hissed.
"Not getting that stupid THING our professor made." I whispered back.
He scrunched his face in confusion and worry. I smiled slightly. He didn't talk the rest of the day, neither did I.
I'm just worried about the potion and my nightmare. What does it mean?
