DayDreams (Book One)

Chapter 7

I'm skipping the one week before school to move the plot line along. Okay bye!

School was starting I got ready in two minutes I was so excited. Jibber seemed happy as well. I ran to the great hall (no matter how far) to scarf down my food.

"Savannah! Stop inhaling your food! Eat properly." McGonagall ordered

I swallowed my food slowly. Then I nodded. I continued eating, fast just not inhaling level. Soon enough, we left to King's Cross for the plan. I had at least fifteen galleons on me for candy. I had more for just in case stuff.

The train leaves in thirty minutes, UGHHHHH! I opened the book The Lightning Thief. I've never read it before, McGonagall gave it to me along with the rest of the books. It had a pretty good storyline.

Jibber jumped onto my lap and the book flew out of my hands. It flew into a kids face.

"I'm so sorry!" I yelled picking up the book.

He groaned lying on the floor I held out my hand for him to grab. I yanked him into a standing position. I then recognized his face.

"Albus?" I questioned.

Albus cocked his head looking at me.

"Savannah? But St Mungos, dad said you.."

"Left? Disappeared? Yeah..... That was on purpose." I mumbled.

Albus sat down in bewilderment staring at me. He didn't seem to be very thoughtful of this conversation. We both sat in silence for a few minutes.

"You got a cat." He noted.

I nodded," Yup, his name's Jibber."

Albus laughed and a smile formed on his face.

"Do you have a pet?" I asked.

"An owl."

"Cool, I heard they're useful." I mentioned.

We were quiet for a few minutes. He looked like he wanted to ask something. Actually I knew he did.

"What." I asked.

"Huh?" Albus questioned.

"What do you want to ask me? Why else are you're feet dancing?" I state.

Oh. Why did you leave St. Mungos?" He asked.

Yeah. So much for only eating candy the whole time. I don't know if I should even tell him. Oh I had a dream my dad killed my mum and it happened! Not a way to make friends. I don't need his pity.

"I don't know." I lied.

Albus didn't look convinced but didn't continue.

"What house do you want to be in?" I asked suddenly.

"Hmmm, I WANT to be in Gryffindor but I'll probably be a Slytherin." He states gloomily.

I frown. What's wrong with Slytherin? I didn't ask him though.

"I'd like to be in any house with you. You're my only friend." I mumble.

Albus laughed.

"Guess we're in this together, eh?"

I proceeded to grin goofily. I like his company.

"Yeah, we can be the Slytherin Twins!" I yelled.

We both laughed uncontrollably. I looked at my watch when I started to breathe. We had twenties minutes until the Hogwarts Express arrived at Hogwarts.

"I'm going to go get on my robes." I state leaving to the bathroom.
