I woke up to people shaking me. Albus and Courtney looked at me, tears filling their worried eyes. I saw Rose standing quietly behind them, awaiting her turn.
"Why did you leave us? Do you have any idea?" Albus yelled, his tears falling down his face.
"I didn't even eat Savannah! I was so worried!"
My own tears brewed.
"I didn't mean to get kidnapped by death eaters..." I mumbled.
Their concern grew even more, lecturing me.
"Just promise you'll take better care of yourself!" They finished together.
I giggled a bit.
"Okay fine. I'd like to talk to Rose though, alone."
Albus and Courtney looked hesitant.
"Okay." Albus stated.
"But, I'm coming back in the moment Rose leaves!" Courtney huffed.
They hugged me again before going to wait by the door. That's when Rose approached me.
"Why did you request me to come here?" Rose asked frowning.
"I needed to say thank you." I answered.
"Yeah, its long overdue."
"Okay...." Rose said, urging me to continue.
I took a deep breath.
"When I passed out in Double Potions, you were the first one to react. You probably saved me!"
Rose's eyebrows furrowed. She didn't understand.
"When I saw the potion, I saw my father. He abused me."
She gasped but didn't say anything. Rose was surprisingly easy to talk to.
"So I'm very thankful."
"I'm thankful to, friend."
My eyes widened.
"I'm your friend?"
"Why wouldn't you be?"
"Okay, why did you thank me?"
"I've never really had much friends before." Rose admitted.
I smiled softly and stood up. Then Rose pushed me straight back down. I pouted.
"That was mean." I pointed out.
"You have weak bones right now, okay?"
I stuck my tongue out at her and she sticks hers out. She started to walk out but I pulled on her sleeve, stopping her movement.
Rose turned around with a playful smile on her face.
"What now?"
"You're not half bad."
Blush radiated her cheeks.
"You're not half bad yourself!"
Blush grew on my own face. I watched her walk away. I knew right there, that I a female named Savannah Hound had a crush on Rose Weasley.
