Chapter 3 Recap:
Javier was successfully accepted into Mathis, thanks to Clyde. Javier, Connor and Clyde went out to search for their runaway leader, Dave. While under the assumption that Javi was lying, Connor ordered the group to turn around and head back. They were quickly ambushed by a hostile group known as the Grizzlies.

Javier jumped from out of the bushes. He looked around. The land before him was blissful. Giant buildings all around, floral gardens and a hot tub in the distance. Quickly, he realized where be was. He was at the water park, celebrating his son's sixth birthday. He quickly walked over to the hot tub, easily seen by the moonlight. His son saw him and quickly swam over to his father to hug him.
"Sam, hey. Having a good birthday, buddy?" Javier asked.
"Yes." Sam replied in his childish voice. Javier stood up and quickly saw his wife, Sarah standing next to him.
"Hey Sarah." Javier said.
"Hey Javi." Sarah replied.
They both watched their son play in the water for some time. Eventually, Sarah broke the silence.
"Javier," She started, "What if we lost him?"
Javier frantically looked at her, "What?"
"Like, what if we lost him, what would you do?" She asked.
"That would never happen. He's my- our little ray of sunshine. I wouldnt let anything bad happen to him. I'd protect him with my life." He replied.
She agreed, but hesitantly opened her mouth to speak.
"I'm just saying, I've been hearing about a lot of kidnappings in the area lately. Just, uh, be prepared. Keep an eye out for him, always."
"Of course," Javi replied, "Always."
Suddenly, an intense amount of light surrounded Javi. He was confused and reached for his wife as she disappeared into the light.
"SARAH! SAM!" Javier screamed.

Javier woke up in the arms of Becky, one of Mathis' medical doctors. Javier looked at her face as she jogged along the treeline.
"Where are they?" Javier asked in a raspy tone.
"Oh my God, thank God! You're alive, you stood up trying to help Clyde and just like that, someone shot you. It's a shoulder shot though, you should be fine if we find you medical attention. Right now though, we need to get out of here." She announced.
Bullets busted through trees as splinters flew around the air. The bullets flew past many, and the bullets also demolished many people.
Suddenly, Javi saw Becky's face blistered with blood and a loud sound to accompany a bust through her skull. Her lifeless corpse fell down and dropped Javi. He looked around and saw everyone in the group running. Most of them were eventually shot down. Javier turned and some the Grizzlys coming and shooting an ample amount of ammo into those who were running. He lay down and closed his eyes. He heard the gunshots and footsteps get closer and closer, until eventually he felt a slight kick in his forehead.
"Get up." The man demanded.
Javier opened his eyes slightly to reveal the leader of the Grizzlys, holding his hand out for Javi. It was Dave.
"Come on," Dave said, "Let's go. Sorry about the dickhead who shot you."
Javier grabbed ahold of Dave's hand as he lifted him up. Javier dusted himself off and quickly reached for his gun. Even quicker, one of Dave's men aimed his gun at him.
"I wouldn't suggest doing that. It'll land you a quick hole in the head, a little more dangerous than the one in your shoulder."
"Lao," Dave started, "I clearly remember telling you to not shoot him, raise your gun at him, the like. What exactly are you doing right now?"
Lao lowered his gun, keeping his rough approach.
"Well sorry Dave, but this asshole-"
"Let's just step over here really quick." Dave replied.
Dave placed his hand over Lao's shoulder while he slowly pulled him away from the group. Another man with spiked up hair and a gold gotee turned to Javi.
"Uh.. It's Javi, right? I'm Jake. So.. What's the deal with you? How does Dave know you?" He asked.
Javi just shook his head.
"We've met before. Just.. Not on terms like this." Javi explained.
Jake just nodded in acceptance. "Just don't piss him off. He's not someone to piss around with."
Screams of agony bellowed from Lao as everyone jumped and turned to look at the scene unfolding before them. Dave was driving his blade into Lao's stomach repeatedly as blood splattered around.
"Next time, you listen to me, motherfucker! Too bad there won't be any 'next time', because you're dead! One job and you couldn't even do that!" Dave shouted. He quickly placed his blade on Lao's throat, looked into Loa's frightened eyes, and simply said, "I'm cutting you out of this group, asshole."
Dave forcefully slid his knife through Lao's throat and threw his body to the ground. Heavy pants came from Dave as walked back to the group.
"Damn it! Now my knife is all messy. What a dick," Dave announced, "Sorry about that. Anyways, Javi. It's been a shit show, hasn't it? I'm glad you're alright, we can fix that little wound real fast. Sorry I couldn't save you sooner."
"Save me? From what, getting shot? Javi asked.
"No not that, well yes, but no. Not the gunshot that came from Lao-wait I mean I would've if I saw it comin- ah shit. Nevermind. What I'm saying is I'm sorry I couldn't get you out of Mathis faster." Dave answered.
