Chapter 1 RECAP
A herd of walking Dead have found their way towards Javier and his family. Quickly ambushed, Javi finds himself inside a vehicle with threats.
Quickly he attained a weapon.

Javier held the pistol and told Connor off.
"Put it down you little fucker! I will shoot!" Connor screamed.
A flash of light came from the barrel of the gun as a bullet flew through the air. Connor turned and saw Lonnie's lifeless body slam on the dash as the blood from his head poured out. The bullet exited through the windshield. Connor's jaw dropped as he filled with rage. He turned toward Javi and shot a bullet towards him. The bullet missed and went through the window as Javi dropped to the floor with his hands held tight on the gun.
Connor turned to the road and noticed the ice was making his car drift. He tried correcting, to no avail. "Oh shit!" He screamed as he saw the vehicle spiral out of control, heading straight for the ditch. Almost instantly, the car threw everybody around like ragdolls on the way down. Javier was dazed and confused, but could slightly notice Connor on the outside of the vehicle, shooting periodically at Walkers that were closing in.
"God damn biters." Connor shouted. Walker's started to close in on Connor. Tears streamed down his face as he sobbed. "I won't forget you Lonnie. You didn't fucking deserve this shit." He ran off, with walkers chasing him. Quickly, Javier closed his eyes and passed out.
Javier woke up, stuck inside the car that was flipped on its right side. He looked up as a walker was trying to bite at the glass, then looked to his right. Lonnie's lifeless body lay in the seat. At least he's dead now, Javi thought. Javier grabbed the pistol from the ground, protected his face and shot at the walker on the outside of the vehicle, killing it instantly. Quickly, Javier escaped the vehicle. He used the broken glass to cut his binds. He noticed the abundance of walkers around, taking interest in him. He saw a city in front of him, to which he started running towards.
Walking the empty streets, Javi tried to find any source of human activity. He realized, in this broken up city, that there were signs that read WARNING MATHIS. Javier followed each of these signs for around 15 minutes, until he reached a giant wall made up of tin walls and wood structures. There was a man standing atop this wall. He pointed his assault rifle at Javi, to which Javi responded by putting his hands up.
"Look," Javi started, "I really don't want any trouble. I'm just looking for some help. I'm looking for my family, we got ambushed and one of them got shot. She's my niece, she's only ten years old."
"Am I supposed to give a shit? We all lost people, that don't give you a free pass." The man responded.
"W-what?" Javier said with a shaking voice.
"Get away. Not enough room for more people. Check back some other time," He demanded.
"I need help to find my family, that's all. Please help me," Javier begged.
"Can't help ya, sorry kid. I got enough people coming through here to take care of." He said.
"Wait," Javier yelled, "How many people do you have in there?"
"Probably a good hundred." He replied.
"Did you get people coming through in the past 24 hours? A little girl and her mother?" Javier questioned.
"Honestly could not tell ya," The man replied, "If they did, I don't remember. I get so many people coming through here, I don't have time to remember them. They could be in here though, not quite sure. Tell ya what, we are missing some important people. If you can bring some back, I might be able to sneak ya into here."
Javier questioned the man "Who are you missing?"
"Well," The man started, " I need you to find a guy named Dave, he's the most important one. Then, try finding Cole, Connor and Lonnie."
Javier looked down, Lonnie is dead, he thought. After talking for a little while longer, Javier turned and walked North to go look for the missing crew.
Hours went by, the time seemed to fly by quick and the weather seemed to get colder. Javier took shelter near a trailer park for warmth. Upon entering, Javi came face to face with a shotgun barrel. The man behind the shotgun had spiked, dark hair. He was clothed in leather and had chocolate brown eyes.
"Who the hell are you? What are you doing here? He asked.
"The name is Javier. I'm looking for some people. Dave, Cole and Connor."
The man quickly put his shotgun down.
"Well, you found one of them. I'm Dave. What do you need me for?" He asked.
"Some people in a community not too far from here sent me to go look for you guys." Javier replied.
"Ah, you're talking about Mathis. Yeah, there is a reason why I left the place. I don't know why you even want to join that shit hole." Dave announced.
"My family might be there." Javier told him.
"Well how'd you lose them in the first place?" Dave asked.
"Some guys attacked us, I got knocked out and woke up next to some blonde guy and a black dude. Think his name was Lonnie. Anyways, we crashed and I walked until I found the community." Javier replied.
"Well shit, that's Mathis for you. I use to be a leader there until I realized how broken everyone in there is. They just shoot people over fuckin' fruit snacks. They're reckless," He commented, " Tell them I'm not coming back. Here, a picture of me. If you show them this, they will believe you."
Javier took the photo and put it in his back pocket.
"Still, I'm not sure if I can find Cole. I'm still surprised I found you." Javier announced.
"Cole went somewhere with a few guys. Last I heard he was with Alex, Kyle, Max and Chooey," Dave replied, "They're on a hunt to gather some supplies. They usually do that by kicking the shit outta innocent people they find nearby. Shit, they're probably the ones who attacked you. I wouldn't mind having someone pop a few bullets into those dumbasses."
"Yeah," Javi added, "Pretty sure I got one of those guys."
"Well," Dave said,"Best place to find them is in a field nearby, it's got a small shack on it with a road crossing through. A gas station sits close to that, just over a small hill. They always catch people over there, it's basically a trap. They just drive around that area and get people."
Javier looked surprised. Well, I fell for the trap, didn't I? He thought. Javier nodded to David as he turned and walked out the door.
"Watch yourself, kid." David suggested, as Javi walked off toward a gas station on the horizon.
