Chapter 5 RECAP
Things take a turn for the worst as Dave made life changing decisions to the entire group. After arriving in a tent following the deaths of others, Dave gets a surprise from a former group at gunpoint.

"Dave," Javi yelled, "Just stop."
"Not a chance. This asshole thinks he can just run up here and kill my people?! I trusted this backstabbing son of a bitch!" Dave replied.
Javier walked up to Dave and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Dammit Dave! I know, I know he did something really shitty. I get it. But it's not our place to do this, he'll get his suffering, but not from us, not from you." Javier convinced.
"So what?! I'm just supposed to let this dirtbag live?! After what he did to us?!" Dave yelled.
"Dave if you do this, everyone is going to judge you for it. People already have a hard time trusting you, let this be an example of how you aren't the monster they make you out to be."
Dave looked down at the wounded Lenord, before smashing his pistol into Lenord's face. Lenord jumped back in pain and stood up, barely.
"You get the fuck outta here and you stay gone," Dave commanded, "Next time I see you," Dave said, cocking his gun and firing near Lenord's feet,
"You wont be walking away happy."
"I ain't the only one out here looking for ya. There's more leftovers from Mathis. You got a lot of people wanting your head on a stick." Lenord informed.
"Your head's gonna be on a stick here in a minute." Dave yelled.
"OK," Lenord sighed, "Okay.. I'm leaving." As he ran off into the woods.
Dave dropped the pistol and crouched down, holding his face into his hands.
"He better not fuckin come back here, I swear. I'm not gonna let him live again." Dave said.
"Calm down Dave. We gotta stay focused here." Javier said.
"We gotta- shit. We gotta leave. It ain't safe here." Dave said.
"Where is there to run to, Dave? There's no more safe places left." Javier replied.
"We just keep heading towards Clarance. I figure if we move five miles a day at least, we'll be there within 3 days." Dave said.
"What about food, water, all the necessary supplies? We don't even have a place to sleep." Javier added.
"Well we will find some on the way. Can't be that hard, harder to stay here and get shot up by the others coming for us. You got any better ideas?" Dave interogated.
"I still have a family that I need to find! Those assholes took them from me." Javier said.
"Javi, if you want any chance of finding your family alive, it's at Clarance." Dave persuaded.

The small group of four gathered up and followed Dave further down the trail.

Javier walked through the piney bushes and made his way toward a rickety white shed. Kate, Gabe and Mari were standing nearby.
"Javi," Kate whispered, "Are you sure about his? What if this is a trap, what if they led us here just to kill us?"
"If they wanted to kill us they wouldn't have waited this long. They said Sam is here and I need to get him back." Javier replied.
The group walked forward to the shed. Javier slowly grabbed ahold of the handle and pulled it open as Kate, Gabe and Mari held their guns toward the door.
The dark shed was quickly lit up by the sunshine outside. Javier ran inside to see his son laying on the ground.
"Sam!" He shouted in joy.
But just as quickly as his happiness came, it left and was filled with fear and sorrow.
Sam's bloodied body turned around to face Javi, then slowly crawled towards the group, growling and snarling for the next meal to approach. Javier stood in utter shock, staring at his dead son slowly coming towards him in his rotting flesh.
Gabe and Mari covered their mouths in awe.
"Javi," Kate whispered, "Im- oh God... I'm so sorry."
Tears began to seep down Javier's face as he fell to his knees.
"No, no, no, no, no, no, no! This can't- this isn't fucking real. What kind of a person would kill my son?! Leave him here- like this?!" Javier choked up.
The Walker came slowly closer, inching its way nearby. Javier slowly pulled out his pistol and aimed it at his sons face. Yet, he couldn't pull the trigger. There his gun aimed as Sam came closer and closer. Just as Sam put his arm out grabbed Javi's hand, he pulled the trigger and finished off his son. Javier stood up and looked below at Sam's corpse without saying a word, showing an reaction of any sort.
"Javier, I'm so sorry.." Kate comforted.
"No," Javi sternly said, "These pile of fucks think they can get away with this, after the fucking peace I kept with them. No way, not a damn chance. Turn around, get out of here. We are going to find these people again and I will rip their flesh off with a fucking spoon."
"Javi, I know your son meant a lot to you, he meant a lot to all of us, but what you're saying right now is suicide." Kate replied.
"They killed themselves when they thought they could get away with murdering my son. They chose their fate, I'm just going to help them finish it."
