Material things
They are an unstoppable army
Wining in addiction
And selfishness
Their spys that invade innocent minds
Masks made up of love
And needMasks that fool even the strongest
Heros
These tiny things that mean nothing
Bring meaning to so many lives
They consume our minds
And buy our soulsAll I want is to live better
But those shoes are better
That necklace
That toy
That thing
All I need is to live better
With God
With love
With MeNeeds
And
Wants
Needs
Or
WantsWant to make a change
But first I need to count mineI pray for strength and wisdom
But still live to need
jewls for a made up kingdomFights for the cause
But all for a costTrying to find a rich road to walk
Rich in sprit
Rich with God
Rich with life
But walking with shoes
That creates armys and cracks
SidewalksSo here I am screaming as it breaks
For a way to win this interal warA way free from these
Material things.
