If only they knew
My pain leaves
My hand in blood
As dark as ink
Forming letters out of grief
And dripping all over the page
If only they took the time
To see the tears that fall
Like like letters of the alphabet
One by one as
Clear as a cloudy day
My secrets laid before the world to see
For someone to read
And come save me
For I am too broken and washed away
My world of words just a blurry mess
Done by a poisonous rain
Drowned too far down
To help myself
If only they saw
The way I begged for them to see
That they could see the mask I wear
That I am no masterpiece
If only they saw the signs
I whispered in my sleepInspiration: Helplessness
