rainbows,
Black and white,
Sunshine,
And
Darkness
We see the sad
In the blue of her tears
And the pain in his eyes
And see the anger
In the red of their blood
And screams they share
And see the love
In the pink of rosey cheeks
And the sparks that fly
And see the happy
In the yellow of its beautiful laughter
And its undeniable smile
We see in rainbows
We like it
Or not
As smiple as life and death
We love
Or hate
Till we all break
It is beautiful
Or ugly
Decided by rules we make up
Either
Or neither
And never both
We become black and white
We see beauty
And hear the bright melody
There is good to take in
And happiness to feel
Like the smell of chocolate
Or his kiss and the first light of spring
We soak in sunshine
We feel cold touches
And embrace mean words
They are so much easier to keep
We believe hate
And create storms
our mind makes monsters true
We have nightmares
And drown in pain
No one but us know that
We consume darkness
We are
Rainbows,
