Silence was surrounding me, and shadows sat around me. I was strapped to the metal table and the tiger who I had been tested upon with, was strapped to the metal table beside me. I stared around fearfully as Drake and Trace came over to us. They both had a shocked look on their faces.
"Okay, time to go to test two. Drake, draw her blood. I'll draw the tiger's blood." Trace said.
Drake nodded and walked towards me with a needle. He stabbed the needle into my arm and drew blood as I bit my lip trying not to scream or cry as he took my blood. He pulled the needle out and I glanced at the tiger who looked like she was in pain too. Trace and Drake took the two needles holding mine and the tiger's blood in it to a table full of chemicals.
"Test subject's blood?" Trace asked her hand open wide for it.
Drake handed my blood over to Trace who had the tiger's blood in a small capsule. She dumped my blood into the capsule and move her hand fast enough for the two blood samples to merge. She then took a thin sheet of glass and placed a single drop of the mixed blood on the sheet of glass before handing Drake the sheet of glass.
Drake placed a second thin sheet of glass over the drop of blood before walking over to a microscope and looking through it. He sat there looking through it a long time before nodding. Trace smiled and walked over to Drake. Drake moved letting her look at it. She nodded before grabbing the capsule and a needle before walking over to me.
"Now, I will inject you with this serum created from your blood and the tiger's blood. It will not hurt...well at least me that is." She chuckled darkly before filling the needle and positioning the needle over my heart.
I whimpered in pain as the needle went into my chest. My eyes widened as she injected the serum into my heart, and I began screaming my head off. I was in too much pain to comprehend what was going on. It felt like all of my blood veins were on fire. My body was shaking violently as I began to foam at the mouth.
Pain. Too much pain. I couldn't see anything as I screamed, but someone was yelling my name as I shook. I couldn't figure out who, but then my vision faded as Zack's voice broke through my nightmare.

"April!" Zack screamed shaking me violently.
I sat bolt upright screaming in fear. I was sweating and my hair was stuck to my face. Zack stood next to my bed wearing just a pair of shorts. He had dark circles under his brown eyes as if he wasn't able to sleep at all. I glanced outside to see the moon just setting. Shakily, I turned to look at Zack again.
"Are you okay? You were screaming and thrashing around in your bed when I came in here." Zack said worriedly.
"I-I'm fine..." I lied looking at my hands.
"April don't lie to me. Please tell me what you were screaming about." Zack begged as he sat down beside me.
"I-I was having a nightmare..." I confessed to him.
"About...?" He asked me as he glanced at the door.
I looked at the door seeing Austin standing there only wearing a pair of boxers. My face heated up and I looked away immediately. Nope. Nope. Not today. Not dealing with this right now. I stood up and immediately rushed past Austin who grabbed my arm and turned me to face him. He leaned down to me and pressed his lips against my lips. I shoved him back as I staggered backwards.
"W-What the hell? Don't you have a girlfriend who is part of your pack and holding your child? How sick can you be?" I spat at him before running down the hall as my anger overflowed my confused emotions.
