Mothers day

  It is now mothers day, Which I always loved because I got to see my mom and spend some time with her. Toby got up and walked up to me while I was in the living room, "hey baby, I called your mom, she is going to be here soon. Your grandmother is also going to come so were going to have a party for them. Ha, the one party that wont have any of us drunk ha-ha!"

I laughed, "yea, I cant wait to see everyone."

Angie and Angel came walking in laughing. I looked over at them, "Hey, what is so funny ha-ha!"

Angie came up to me, "well, we was talking about when you all was babies."

I laughed, "oh no , ha-ha! I know I was a handful."

Angie laughed, "yea, your mom had it hard when you was a kid ha-ha!"

I laughed, "yea, I've seen the videos of me throwing fits ha-ha!"

Not soon after they walked into the living room mom and dad walked in. I started laughing and walked up to mom and gave her a hug, "happy mothers day mom."

She smiled, "happy mother day baby girl!"

Dad walked over to Toby and started talking. Me and mom walked to the women in the living room still talking about when all of us was kids. I laughed, "Mom you really had your hands full but you was a good mother even through tough times when I was being a total brat. You're a great mother."

I hugged her and she smiled, "Thank you and yes it was tough but I got through it look at you now, you're a great woman so that means I did a good job."

I smiled, "yup, that you did!"

We all sat down in the living room chatting. As we was in the living room chatting Garth, Guy, Luke, Bob, Chris, Brady, Derek, Mamaw, Aunt Sherry, Pete, Lisa, Kids, Will and Jazzy knocked on the door and came in. We all got up and greeted everyone. I was standing next to Toby with both our arms around each other. The kids took off outside to play as we all went into the living room to talk. Toby gave beer bottles to dad, Chris, Garth, Luke, Pete and Bob. Will went outside with the kids to take them to the four wheelers to ride around. Paul knocked and walked in, "hmm, wow well happy mothers day everyone!"

We all laughed," happy mothers day ha-ha!"

He walked into the living room with the rest of us and sat down. Nicki and Kenny was outside with Miranda, Nicki had a mothers day cake she was bringing in. They came up to the door and walked in. Nicki sat her cake down on the table which was a 3 tier mothers day cake decorated with edible multicolored dandelion flowers. "here is the cake I promised you all."

She hugged mom, "happy mothers day!"

Toby took Kenny into the sunroom where the beer fridge was and got him a beer bottle. All the men went out on the deck while all us women was in the kitchen looking at the cake and talking about it. Jake walked in and was laughing, "Dude, that is one cool looking cake. Hey where are all the men at?"

I pointed to the back deck, "Out back on the deck."

Jake walked out to the deck with the rest of the men. I looked over at everyone,

"I'll be right back I got to use the phone real quick."

They all replied, "ok!"

I went into the living room and picked up my phone. I called Katy. Katy picked up, "hello!"

"hey, are you all coming by after you go to your moms? Mom, Nicki, Mamaw and Chris is here."

"Yea mom is going to ride with us to go there."
