Thanksgiving

chapter 8

  It was Thanksgiving Day I woke up looking over at Toby he was up staring at me. "good morning baby!"

I smiled, "good morning baby!"

Toby just kept smiling at me, "I didn't want to wake you, you looked so peaceful sleeping so I just looked at you while you was sleeping."

I smiled, "awe baby your so sweet."

I kissed him then we both got up. We took a shower and got dressed and headed to the kitchen to start cooking the hot stuff. My parents and sister in law and brother was in the living room. Tim and Katy was sitting on the couch chatting with mom, dad, Kenny and Nicki.

I walked to the kitchen to start the ham which was already started Angie was in there, "oh there you are, I just decided to start the ham for you."

I smiled, "thanks mom!"

mom and dad brought the turkey which was done it was sitting on the big table in the kitchen covered up in aluminum foil. dad was sitting next to Garth with a beer can in his hand. and as usual Kenny had a beer can in his hand too they were all talking about the parade which was on the TV. mom got up and hugged me, "hey baby girl, happy Thanksgiving!"

I smiled, "happy Thanksgiving to you too mom love ya"

"love ya too baby girl!"

All the men were all talking about the parade which I sat down to watch while the food was cooking. Toby got up and went to the fridge which he grabed me a soda and handed to me, "thanks baby!"

He winked at me then sat back down, "your welcome baby I knew you needed one so I got you one."

Monica came walking in still in her pj's rubbing her eyes. "good morning everyone happy Thanksgiving everyone."

we all answered back, "happy Thanksgiving Monica."

We all was watching the Macy's day parade which I always loved to watch. Maria came walking in looking at the TV talking about the floats. She sat next to me and Enrique on the couch staring at the TV watching the floats.

Toby got up, "Hey does anyone want breakfast I dont know about you all but that smell of food is making me Hungary, I'm gonna fix breakfast for everyone."

I looked up at him, "yea sure, yea that smell is making me Hungary baby."

dad and Garth looked up, "Oh yea we never turn down a good breakfast."

Toby laughed, "ok I'll go fix some breakfast."

Toby went in the kitchen and got out all the breakfast stuff. He started fixing amulets,

"so how does amulets sound guys,"

we all licked our lips, "mmm yummy, yea sure!"

Toby smiled and continued cooking, "ok amulets it is then."

mom turned over and looked at me, "your man sure can cook, my daughter picked a good man," she smiled at me.

I smiled back, "oh yea I love him so much."

Nicki giggled, "yea he reminds me of Kenny."

me and mom giggled I looked over at Nicki," hmm, you know you got a point he does act allot like my brother ha-ha!"

Kenny looked over at us, "huh, what?"

we all giggled I looked at Kenny, "Nicki was saying that Toby reminds her of you and I agreed."

Kenny cackled, "yup, It's a redneck thing ha-ha!"

Toby laughed, "Oh yea It's just a redneck thing."
