chapter 10

   It was nearing time for the Christmas party we had to get everything ready which Christmas was getting close but first I had to figure out what to get my mom for her birthday which her birthday was on the 9th of December. So Toby went to the store and came back and brought a touch screen ipad which mom would use to read her books. He also went ahead and got my dads birthday present which was the day before Christmas eve. He got dad a desktop computer which he really needed with a flat screen 19inch and which was a dell it was pretty nice. We wrapped both of them which dad wouldn't get till his birthday. he looked at me and said, "well lets go to your parents house and give your mom her present I'm sure she will love it. She could really use it."

We got in the truck and headed to mom and dads. They didn't live far from me.

When we got to mom and dads their dogs were having a fit. There were a weenie dog named Mary, and a toy poodle named chance. The dogs were barking. I had a birthday card and moms present in my hand. We went inside and gave mom a hug and told her happy birthday. Mom looked like she was about to cry. "thank you all so much, you made my birthday."

Toby handed her the present and the card. Mom looked at her card and read it, "awe guys that's so sweet!"

She opened up her present and then her eyes were wide open with surprise, "ooooh It's just what I wanted for my birthday."

I smiled and she hugged both of us. Toby went out to the truck and brought in a cake which surprised me because I didn't know there was a cake in the truck. He handed it to mom and sat it on the island in the middle of the kitchen which mom and dad lived in a big double wide which was nice.

mom was surprised, "oh Toby you all just made my birthday."

I put in the candles and lit them and had mom make a wish and blew them out. Mom blew the candles out and we ate cake and ice cream. The cake was red velvet with cream cheese icing which was my moms favorite and the ice cream was Neapolitan. Nicki and Kenny walked in and gave mom and hug and a card. They got a piece of cake and some ice cream and we all sat down in the living room and ate.

Toby and I gave mom a hug. I gave my dad a hug, "We better get we got some wrapping to do."

Kenny and Nicki left when we did and we headed home. When we walked in Toby got the wrapping paper, "Well let's wrap some gifts so we can put them under the tree. We wrapped all our gifts and I wrapped my dads present for his birthday and signed the card. We put all the presents under the tree which was allot of presents. after that we got ready for bed and layed down next to each other and went to bed.

It was 2 days till Christmas. It was my fathers birthday and dad said that he wanted a party for his birthday so we got things ready for the party then everyone came walking in. mom and dad, Kenny and Nicki, Garth and Angie, Guy and then Jake came in with him, Luke, Bob and Chris, and then Miranda, her husband and Jr..

Miranda took Jr. to the kids room with Maria then walked back into the living room. We had a happy birthday banner on the big window in the living room to the back deck.

mom and Nicki sat on the couch with Angie and Miranda talking. I was getting the cake ready which I made. Dad was in the garage with Toby and all the boys talking about cars. So us girls was in the living room talking about the men, which was funny.

mom laughed, "men and cars!"

Angie laughed, "yea, they all always talk about cars, guns and women ha-ha!"

we all laughed because it was so funny.

I giggled, "well, we are talking about the boys ha-ha!"

Nicki giggled, "yea that's true ha-ha!"

Enrique walked into the living room, "where is all the guys at?"

I laughed, "well, they are in the garage talking about cars, you can stay in here and join in on our funny conversations."

he laughed, "Ha, I would enjoy being with all ya chicas but I'm gonna go in the garage with all the guys."

I laughed, "ok suit yourself!"

We all started laughing. mom looked at me, "So, what did you get your father?"

I looked over at mom, "well Toby went and got him a new desktop flat screen monitor, I think he would like it you all could use a new desktop, oh he also got a chord to plug the laptop into the TV."

mom smiled, "Oh yes that is awesome he will love that."

dad and the guys walked back into the living room laughing. I looked up at them "do I wanna know what you guys are laughing about?"

Toby was still laughing, "oh, we was talking about you all and your fashions and stuff like that."

I laughed, "well we was talking about you guys and your cars, guns and women ha-ha"

he laughed, "well lets go cut the cake It's cake time."

We all got up and went to the kitchen to the cake which was on the table. Dad sat in front of the cake and I lit the candles. He blew them out I asked him, "did you make a wish dad?"

"yea, of course!"

then Toby brought out our card which he read and then hugged both of us.

I smiled, "there is more where that came from ha-ha!"

he smiled, "oh really!"

Toby brought out his present from us. Dad opened it, "oh man yea kewl, I needed a desktop and the chord Awesome thanks guys!"

he hugged us again. "your welcome dad!"

Dad cut the first piece of the cake. Which was a red velvet cake with cream cheese just like moms cake because dad likes red velvet just like mom. We all got us a slice of cake and some ice cream which was Neapolitan which was dads favorite.

We all sat and chatted and dad and the boys as usual had acoustic guitars singing and playing the whole night.

It was getting late and everyone left dad and mom hugged me dad smiled, "thanks for the birthday party I had a blast and thanks for the desktop I needed that."

"your welcome dad!" I replied.

me and Toby cleaned up and then got ready to go to bed layed down in the bed and stared at each other then made love and went to bed cuddled up with each other.
