A Warm Metal Heart

Jake gently sat down on the side of Star's bed with his helmet off. He gently held her left hand with his own and he smiled a little. "There's those beautiful glowing blue eyes I've been waiting to see." He said softly. Star smiled a little and she let go of his hand and gently touched the side of his metal face. "I missed you, butthead." She whispered with a soft smile. Jake chuckled and he looked down. Star sat up and forced him to lay down beside her then she cuddled up against him with her head on his chest. "That's better." She grinned. Jake couldn't help but smile as he felt his core burn with happiness. "Star I want you to listen to me carefully ok? This is very important." He said. Star nodded and held his arms around her. "Ok I'm listening." She replied. "I love you." Jake said softly and held her close. "I know people have been saying things about me and Atro but it's all bullshit because you are my world. If not for you I-" Star flipped over onto her stomach so she was facing him. She pulled herself on top of him and rested her head against his. "You're stupid to think I, of all people would fall for that shit." She mumbled then pouted. "Hold meeeee I'm tired!" She whined. Jake did as he was told and he wrapped his arms tight around her and held her in the way she liked. Star giggled and nuzzled him. "Much better butt face. Jake I love you too, you may not realize it but I love just being here and cuddling you and just... I love being yours and I love that you are mine. And only mine." She said that last part with a somewhat sassy tone then giggled. "I am one of the luckiest guys in the world, I hope you know that, Star." Jake whispered and closed his mouth and pressed his metal mouth against her head then he laid his head back down. Since Jake was an Exo this is all he could really do for kissing since he didn't have lips. Star smiled and she kissed his metal forehead then curled up and closed her eyes happily. Star loved his little robot kisses even though they weren't real kisses, she didn't care, she thought it was cute. "You're an Iron Lord now huh?" Star said quietly. "Yes I am." Jake replied. "Well I hope Iron Lords can sleep because I am going to." Star said quietly. Jake chuckled. "Don't worry, I will sleep too. Goodnight my Star." He said softly and closed his eyes which was really just turning them off since he didn't have eyelids. Star smiled and got comfy. "Goodnight my butt face." She giggled and soon both of them drifted off into a peaceful sleep which was very rare nowadays with all the Wars and things that went on around the universe.
