I woke up to the many dings of my phone. I rolled over and grabbed it to see what all the dinging was about.
From: Metalhead
Don't forget surprise birthday Brunch at Bunny Girls place.

From:Bookworm
Lucy's brother and dad are both out of town. Bring your swim trunks.

From:Ice Princess
Brunch at 2 don't forget your present Flame Breath.

From: Luce<3
Thank you for yesterday Mr. Dragneel. Plue is the best birthday present ever!

I checked the time and saw that it was 12:12pm. I slowly shuffled to the bathroom and showered, then I made myself presentable and got dressed. Maybe I should still pick something up for Luce? I scratched the side of face trying to think of something to get her. Then I decided to stop by the mall. I grabbed my phone, keys and wallet as I walk out the door.

What am I going to get her to top Plue? After deciding I couldn't top Plue I picked out a few other things I thought she might like. I had them gift wrapped then hopped on my bike. Just as I was about to take off my phone dinged again.

I forgot candles, could you please pick some up. Thank you!

I slid my phone in my pocket and put on my helmet. Off to the gas station.

*At the party 1:52pm

To:Rain Woman
Okay I'm here, come let me in.

I waited patiently as the front door opened. Levy put her finger up to her mouth signaling me to keep quiet. I nodded my head in acknowledgment. "Lucy is upstairs asleep, so we're gonna set up quietly, and then Juvia and I will go wake her up." Levy whispered. She led me into the kitchen where Virgo was making waffles, bacon, eggs, toast, biscuits, and gravy; while Juvia worked on the cake, and Gajeel and Gray hung decorations. I handed the candles to Juvia and set my presents on the gift table. "Who else is here?" I whispered to Gajeel. "Thunder Brain and the demon, Blueberry and the cake demon, and the drunkards." "Drunkards?" I questioned. "You'll see. Everyone else is busy decorating elsewhere." I nodded and handed him some ribbon.
"Okay everything is ready!" Levy whisper shouted. Why are we whispering? Lucy's house is huge. There's no way she can hear us. Unless it echoes real bad. "Everyone hide, while Juvia and I go get the birthday girl."

Levy's pov
We crept quietly into Lucy's room, waking up Plue as the door creaked slightly. We tiptoed over to Lucy's bed and counted to three, jumping onto her bed and squealing on 3. She woke up quickly and immediately began laughing. "What are you guys doing?" She laughed as she threw a pillow at us. "Waking you up for a belated birthday brunch!" Juvia squealed. We sprayed silly string on her and threw confetti around. She laughed more and we pushed her out of bed. "Come on get dressed or brunch is going to get cold. We shoved her quickly into her bathroom and picked out some cute clothes as she showered. I grabbed a pair of short shorts and a white tank top, while Juvia grabbed a pale pink off the shoulder shirt that happened to match a certain teachers hair, and a pair of matching pink converse. Lucy came out of her bathroom and immediately began to get dressed in the clothes we choose for her. I sat her down then dried her hair, pulling it back into two long pigtails, while Juvia put on light makeup. "Okay we have a surprise for you so you have to put this mask on!" I giggled excitedly. Lucy giggled back and happily slid the mask over her eyes. Then we led her out of her room and down stairs while she held Plue tightly in her arms.
"Okay wait here, on the count of 3 take off your mask." I said as Juvia stood her in the middle of the room. Then we ran excitedly in front of her. I grabbed a present while Juvia grabbed the cake. We looked around making sure everyone was hidden and ready. "Okay 1...." I said. "2..." Juvia giggled. "3!" We shouted. Lucy took off her mask and smiled wildly. "Surprise!" Everyone yelled coming out of there hiding spots, making Lucy smile even more if possible. "Happy birthday!" They shouted.
