Four Elements part 1

We walked over to Lucy and Juvia, Juvia had hearts in her eyes while Lucy's were full of shock and her face was red. I contemplated standing next to her, but wasn't sure if I really should. I didn't know that, all that happened back then. I didn't know that day her mother died. She was looking for comfort, and someone her age who wouldn't?
I sighed and was pulled from my thoughts when I realized someone was standing next to me. I looked down and saw Luce, my Luce standing happily next to me. Then I noticed Ice Freak on the other side of her. Loke walked over to her and held out his hand. "My beautiful princess would you like to accompany me?" I watched as she visibly winced at him using her brothers nick name for her as flirt. I was about to say something when..."Loke I swear if you call her princess one more time I'm going kick you so hard that your grandchildren will still feel its wrath!" Levy shouted. I distinctly remember this girl saying she was shy, but all I've seen is violence. "That is the name her brother calls her, do you want her to think of her brother every time you try to make a pass at her!"
"Right then...my beautiful star would you like to accompany me?" He asked again.
"No! You pervert you back away from this innocent child right now!" Erza shouted pulling Lucy into a tight hug and petting her hair. "I will protect you from these filthy men!"
"Um sweetie I think you might be scaring the poor girl." Jellal sweat dropped watching his wife fawn over Lucy.
"Hey Luce, how about some cotton candy?" I looked at her and watched as her expression went from awkward and nervous to excited. Her eyes became wide and her happiness looked as if it were going to bubble over. "Yes! I would love some!" She giggled excitedly. We all walked over to a cotton candy cart and watched as Lucy watched the man in awe. She followed his every movement as if he was performing some sort of magic trick that she was trying to figure out. He handed us the cotton candy and we walk away. I looked down at Lucy and noticed she hadn't eaten hers yet. I reached down and pulled a piece of hers off and popped it in my mouth. She watched me carefully and then began to eat it herself. She knew it was edible, but didn't know how to eat it? Who knew being sheltered like that was so crippling.
"Lev! Can we ride that?" Lucy squealed. I looked up to the ride she was pointing at. It was a giant wooden rollercoaster that you could see sway as the cars flew down the tracks. I stopped walking and reached into my pocket pulling out 2 motion sickness patches. I handed one to Gajeel as we prepared for hell. "What's that?" Lucy asked softly.
"It's a motion sickness patch." I answered as I placed it on my shoulder.
I saw something spark in her eyes as if something had occurred to her. Oh no. "Motion sickness..." she rubbed her temples as if thinking hard."I knew someone who had motion sickness once, from what I can remember it's pretty horrible. Why would you agree to a theme park as the reward?"
"These patches help me manage, Gajeel has the same issue." I replied.
"Did you have one on for the ride here." She asked. I simply nodded my head as Levy pulled her away from me and to the roller coaster. After a few minutes of discussion between Levy, Erza, Juvia and Lucy, only Levy, Erza, Jellal and Gajeel were going to ride with Lucy. "Um Mr. Dragneel." Lucy said nervously. I looked at her and smiled. "Do you want to ride with me? Gray, Juvia and Loke don't like big roller coasters so that kind of leaves me alone." Alone. The word pierced through my heart like a blade. "Luce, please call me Natsu while we're not in school okay?" She nodded her head in understanding " and I would be happy to." I smiled.
Lucy squealed in delight with every twist, turn, and fall of the coaster, her laughter filled the air around us. It made me feel content. After the ride we were discussing what we to do next when Lucy was yanked harshly out of my arms
