3RD PERSON POV:
Steve was sitting down on a hospital chair next to Sarah who was now unconscious. She would be able to use her right hand just fine thanks to Tony. They had left metal adjustments in her arm that connected to her brain so she was able to use it correctly. "Morning, Captain." Peter said walking in with two cups of coffee and some Carnation flowers. "Peter, how's it going?" Steve asked the teen, knowing he would be sore from the fight. "Good, still hurting but good. What about you? I got you good a few times." Steve chuckles. "I'm doing well, kid." Peter hands him the coffee and sets down the flowers. "Has she responded at all?" He asks looking down at the blonde. "She's moved her hands a few times."
"Both of them?" Peter ask sitting down on a chair. "Yeah. We thought that it wouldn't work out but it did." Peter crosses his fingers togethers and lays them against his lips. "This isn't her first time like this. It's happened before but not this bad. She's good at hiding pain." Steve says looking at the worried teen. "What do you mean?" Peter ask, leaning forward from his chair. "Had she ever used the word eccedentesiast, do describe herself?" Steve questions. Peter furrows his eyes brows. "Never heard her say it." He says. "Well, It basically means hiding pain behind a smile. Her tell is when her nose-"
"Twitches and so does her left ear, yeah. I've noticed before." Peter chuckles "So, Peter. I think you passed." Steve says drinking his coffee. "Passed what?" Peter ask setting down his cup of tea. "The test in where I tell you if you're good enough for Sarah or not, and you are." Steve states. Peters ears burn a shade of red. "Oh uh, I don't think that we-"
"I still haven't realized why you haven't told her that you love her." Peter sighs. "Tony?" He ask. "Tony." Steve confirms. "I don't know. She- she said something to me that kind of of put me off guard. She, uh, said that she loses people. She told me that it was her fault and she never told me why." Steve nodded understanding what he was talking about. "Have you ever heard of a Banshee, its modern Irish myth." Peter looks at Sarah a bit surprised. "You mean, Sarah is-"
"She's special. That's why you never hear her yell or scream because she wasn't about to control about a year ago. But when she met you something changed, she started controlling her anger and her temper. Most of it was at the avengers tower. She would break windows and vases. Tony had to keep her in a sound proof and break proof room for a week." Steve chuckles "Marie, Sarah's care taker back when she was younger, told me everything thing I needed to know. She would have migraines when she screamed to much or didn't scream at all." Steve pauses. "The reason why she saved Rhodney is because he would always help around the home, tell her that someone will come for her soon and tell her that she's safe and that he wouldn't let anything happen until I came back." Peter's hand was under Sarah's, he was caressing her hand with his thumb and her hand lightly twitched.
"She kept a lot of secrets didn't she?" Peter questions and Steve nods. "Go home and Relax Mr.Rogers. You've been here long enough, I can stay with her tonight." Peter says not taking his eyes off of Sarah. Steve hesitated before leaving the teen alone. Peter took out his phone and texted aunt May; She's not awake yet, won't be coming home tonight. He his aunt. Peter intertwines his hand with Sarah's and hold it against his lips. A tear trickles down Peters cheek as he held it in long enough. "Damn it, Sarah. You had to play the hero didn't you?" He mumbles, all he could hear where the steps of people coming by and Sarah's heart monitor. He listened to her heartbeat, remembering when he watched something fall out of the sky and not knowing it was her. He sighs tilting his head down. Her hands where cold, she looked pale but her skin glowed.
"I know you might not hear me in that pretty head of yours but I'm still gonna talk to you." The brunet teen says. "Remember the first day we met? I met you. You met Spider-Man." Peter chuckled.
Sarah had been distracted with the fact that she was alone, Steve being a few minutes away but not close enough for her. Her paranoia was growing as she walked down the streets of Queens. "Jesus, I'm freezing." She girl says blowing her warm breath onto her hands. She started walking quicker as she noticed a man behind her. He or she was following Sarah and they where gaining up on her. Peter watched the scene from a distance, he didn't know if he should attack the guy of watch the scene play out. Sarah walked into an alley and turned to the person behind them. She felt a trickle of rain fall on her cheeks.
"Damn, my hair is gonna get messed up because of you." She says running towards the figure. The rain now fell hard and blurred Peter's vision. "Damn it." He says before taking them off. Sarah now had the mans neck between her legs, the hidden figure grabbed her waist and threw her down and making her stand up.
"I'm guessing separating from daddy america wasn't the best plan, was it?" They asked, their voice was feminine. "Let the girl go." Peter says from the top of the building, then jumping off. The black figure placed a knife on Sarah's neck. "Jesus, fuck. Really?!" Sarah exclaimed, she was calm but had to act afraid. Peter shot two webs at the figure. One on his hand and the other on his foot, Peter turned caring the web over him and slamming the woman onto a wall. "You okay?" Peter asks. Sarah just looked at thing in front of her. "What are you?" She chuckled out. "No time for that." Peter says looking back at the unconscious woman.
"Where do you live?" He asked and Sarah rose a brow. "Why should I tell you?!" Sarah question turning her back and walking the other way. Peter shoots a web around her waist and pulls her towards him. She gasp and she is lifted up by Peter and they where on a rooftop. "What the hell?!" She yells shoving Peter away. "Buy me dinner first." She mumbles as she takes out a pocket knife and cuts herself out of the web. "I'm just trying to help." Peter states. "I had it under control." Sarah says bluntly "Didn't look like it!" Sarah grunts. "How the hell am I supposed to get off." She says to herself. "Just tell me where you live. I'll take you there." Sarah looks at the person in front of her. "Fine. I live in Ditmars Steinway, 79th street." Peter nodded "Alright. Hold on."
"What?" Sarah asked before Peter held her from the side and started moving from place. She looked down at the city and her breath was taken away. "Wow. This is amazing." She whispers. "I know right." Peter smiles, they land gently in front of Sarah's apartment. "Thanks, Spider-boy." She says walking the stairs. "Man!" Peter yells back. "Don't sound like one!" The blonde jokes.
Sarah's heart raced awake and her eyes fluttered open. She left heavy weight on her hospital bed and looked down at her bed. Peter was asleep with his head tilted to the side. "You think I'm going to forget something so important, you idiot." Sarah smiles and looks around her and see's Peter's phone on the able. She clicks the button on the side turning on the phone and looking at the screen. It was a picture of her laughing. Sarah's cheeks burned a shade of pink as she looked at the hour and date. It was 11pm. "I've been out for a few days..." She sighs and puts Peter's phone back as she looks at the flowers. She smiles, Peter really cared about her and Sarah cared about him.
