Baby Steps.

*Bo's POV*

I rolled over to an empty bed, cold and alone. I heard the shower running, so I decided to just wait on Lauren to finish showering. I lie there and look around the room, seeing the previous night's activities and seeing them play over and over through my head.

"Don't think too hard or you'll break your brain," I hear as Lauren's voice echoes throughout the room. I chuckled as she stood there in nothing but a kimono bathrobe and had it tied loosely .

I sat up, pulling the sheets over my bare chest and brought myself to my knees at the end of the bed. "You scared me, Lauren. That's not very nice." She smirked and said, "You'll live."

As she turned to get ready, I grabbed the back of her robe and spun her around to kiss her. She smiled into the kiss and I broke it, whispering against her lips, "So, what would my little doctor like to do today?"

She giggled this cute ass giggle and kissed me back. "Hmm, I have no idea what to do. Maybe you have an idea." I smirked and said, "Always, babe." I pulled away from her face a bit and she looked like a little surprised.

Her moment of shock was gone as I grabbed the belt of her robe and slowly wrapped it around my knuckles. It slowly opened more and more, exposing her chest and then her toned stomach.

I bit my lip as I slid the robe from her shoulders and letting it fall into a pile around her feet. Her chest was bare, but she was wearing a simple pair of black lace panties and it took my breath away.

She smiled shyly and I grinned like an idiot. "Lauren .. You kill me," was all I could let out. She looked up to meet my eyes, "Don't die on me. I need you."

My heart fluttered when I heard her say those words and I pulled her in for a deep, sensual kiss. She needs to be cherished. She needs to know how much I love her.

*Kenzi's POV*

"K STAR!!" I hear Bo shout as she comes through the door. I got so happy to hear the little giddiness in her voice and shouted back, "In the kitchen, BoBo!"

She turned the corner with her signature smile on her face and I felt like she was much better than before. I could sense that about her, you know? Overly awesome BFF powers, I guess.

I put my food down and gave Bo a big hug as she sighed into the hug. As we pulled apart, I asked, "So BoBo, what's up?" She slightly laughed and shrugged, "I honestly have no idea. Good things, bad things. I'm not sure how to read the situation, honestly."

I look at her, confused by what she meant by that. "Well, you're gonna have to elaborate what that means." She sits down on our couch and gets comfortable and I grab my food and plop down beside her.

She lets out a long sigh as she slumps into the couch. "Well, I met Nadia... Then I almost killed her." I gasp and ask, "Bo, what happened?"

"Well, I went to Lauren's and she was there and she was upset because, well, Lauren chose me... Kenz, Lauren chose me." I looked at her in a slight bit of shock, but tried to look unphased by it.

"So?! What's wrong with that Bo?" I got a little overexcited and she quickly brought me back down. "Because Kenz, I feel like she's still gonna regret leaving Nadia for me... I mean, I'm a complete mess," she sighs and mutters under her breath. "Actually, I'm a monster."

I smack her leg and make her look at me. "You are not a monster, Bo. Yes, you've made mistakes, but look at you. When I met you forever ago, you were so much different. You were hopeless and terrified. You had no reason to keep going. But look at you now. You have Lauren, Dyson, and you have me. I need you Bo."

She made that little face that she makes when she knows someone's right, so I just smile back at her. "Thanks, Kenz. I don't know what I'd do without you." I giggled and said, "You'd be a hot mess." She playfully shoves me and smirks, "I'm already hot."

After sitting and laughing and taking about the previous night's events, we decide to open a bottle of wine and relax. By the end of the bottle, Bo already has a beer in her hand, finally letting her normal, laidback self out. I missed how we'd do this almost every night.

I wish she'd still stay here as much, but she still sees me everyday. As long as she's happy (even if its not with wolfie) then I'm happy. I just want Bo to feel the love and kindness she deserves. Lauren gives her that.

"Soooo, BoBo. Are you and Lauren gonna become a thing again or is this still middle school?" Bo laughed heartily, slurring her words slightly. "I'm not sure. I love her. She loves me. Isn't that enough?"

I shrugged my shoulders and she looked at me, slightly confused. "Kenz, we're taking it slow. Baby steps, baby steps."
