The Truth.

*Lauren's POV*

After the situation with Dyson and his lover the other day, he and Bo seem to be fine again. I know I shouldn't worry because,  well, I feel that I'm who she really wants.

'Who are you kidding? I mean, look at you,' my mind screams at me and at this thought, my last five years come crashing down on me again.

All I can think about is how I'm in live with Bo, but I still have Nadia and I'm afraid to hurt either one of them. I loved Nadia first and I still do. I just don't know if I'm IN love with her anymore.

Bo, on the other hand, I'm in live with her. It's like when you have your first ever crush and you can't think straight or even stop yourself from rambling. It's like the butterflies in your stomach and also the way that their words can melt you like butter.

I felt certain things with Nadia,  But Bo is so different. No is the only person that I've ever felt that with. She never even had to use her abilities to make me fall in love.

I don't understand why I felt so guilty for having feelings. I honestly believe Bo would understand when I saved Nadia. IF I saved Nadia. That was the whole problem. IF.

After pondering the subject for a while.  I decided to head home early and prepare to tell Bo everything when she got home. I went in and took a hot bath, since she would be gone awhile.

After my bath, I went into the kitchen to make a glass of wine. I headed back into the living room. I jumped, startled, to see the Ash sitting on my couch. "Lachlan! What are you doing here," I shouted and immediately tried to cover up, especiallysince I only have shorts and a tank top on.

"Don't be frightened, Doctor. I only came to share good news with you," he replied with his evil smirk. "Which is?" "There's been a discovery in Nadia's... state. We've found a nail and it seems to be a clue in this whole ordeal. Congratulations.  Have fun informing the oblivious succubus," he chuckled, menacingly, before exiting the room, leaving me astonished and frightened.

I made my way to the window to make sure he left, but he was already gone. I made my way back into the kitchen and began making dinner. As I was making Bo and I plates, I heard her pull in.

I made way to the table with the wine bottle and two clean glasses. As she walked in, I heard her sigh, signalling that she had a tiring day. 'Here goes it.'

She dropped her jacket on the floor and made her way into the kitchen. "Mmm. Something smells good," she smiled and made her way over to the table. She came over to me and wrapped her arms around me, attempting to kiss my neck, but I slightly pulled away, causing her to give me a confused look.

"Is everything alright," she quickly asked. I nodded and said, "Yes. But we have to talk." "Okay..." I sighed and began my confession. "Remember that day with Dyson? When you asked me to tell you my.. um.. secret?"

She cocked her head to the side and said, "Yes, but really Lauren, you don't have to explain anything." I shook my head. "Bo, I don't want to think about it, but you need to know," I paused and she nodded, "The thing is.. well.. I have a girlfriend. But it's not what you think."

Her expression went from her usual perkiness to the face of a saddened child, heartbroken even. "Why didn't you say so?" I reached for her hand and she pulled away, which slightly offended me. "Bo, please listen t-" "Actually, I need to go. I told Kenzi that I'd stay with her for a few days. So, bye."

She headed to the room to gather some clothes and things while I say there, dumbfounded and saddened. After she returned to the living room with some things, I tried to convince her to let me explain.

"Bo, please, stay tonight and talk with me. It's extremely complicated." "I... I. Uh. I can't.  I promised Kenz. Maybe some other time," she said, giving me get fakest smile. The one she used when she tried to hide her pain.... The pain I've caused her.
