*Bo's POV*

I can't believe that she just asked me that. What do I say? How do I even answer with this huge lump in my throat? Is this real? Is she real? Lauren Lewis. A human doctor. Wants to marry me. A succubus monster.

I look at her closely for what felt like forever and my breath was caught in my throat. We sat in silence and then I had to say something. She looked just as nervous as I did.

I cleared my throat and opened my mouth to hear my meek voice answer, "Yes." Her eyes begin to water immediately. She grabbed my cheeks and kissed me ever so softly.

When she pulled back from our soft kiss, she looked up into my eyes, the both of us in teaes now. She quietly reassured that she had heard correctly.

"Yes?" I chuckled and grabbed her face this time, giving her a reassuring kiss and I ran my hands through her disheveled hair.

"Yes. Yes, Lauren. I love you more than anything or anyone else I've ever met. You are beautiful and good. I will be yours eternally, but..." I broke off with my but just clinging to the air around us.

"But what, Bo..?" I looked down and when I looked up, she was sitting there, still silently crying, but now it looked as for another reason.

"But, well, I don't know how to put this..." She broke in with, "Go ahead."

"I just want you to know that I will love only you. And for all of our remaining days, but..." She grabs my face and strokes my cheek as tears begin to roll down my face.

"Lauren, I just need you to understand that in order for me to live long enough to enjoy our future, I do need to feed off of other fae or find a substantial source of chi."

She immediately smiles and finally just simply stares, "Bo, I truly want you too much to let your survival come in the way."

I look her in the eyes before grabbing her neck and pulling me closer as I lightly pull very lightly on her internal energies.

I often crave her. More than any other person or fae I'd been with, this making every time I get the chance to feel her, I take it. She doesn't understand that she is the love of my life and even after her days, I will cherish this woman.

She begins kissing me eagerly and I finally give in once she starts. I want to make her feel important and loved more than anyone has ever made her feel.

I slowly make my way to her neck, when there's suddenly loud banging from the door and shouting. It's in distinct, but I can hear that it's Kenz.

"Bo-Bo, Doc, open up! It's hella important!" I rush to pick myself up off of Lauren and adjust myself on the way to the door. I open the door and Kenzi is acting like she can't breathe. It's like she just ran her whole way here.

She pushes herself past me and luckily, just in time, Lauren is just getting herself readjusted as well.

"So you guys won't believe what I just seen while taking care of some fae business in another area not so far from here!"

Lauren instantly chimes in with a "What's going on?" Kenzi immediately snaps her head towards Lauren and just slides an easy greeting in.

"Hey Doc. So anyways, I was on a walk after finishing up some investigations for a buddy. I saw this girl looking very crazed and rushing into the Dark Fae territory and suddenly meeting up with the Morrigan in this low-lit building."

I immediately began to wonder who it may have been and all my brain could think of was ...
