The Escape.

*Lauren's POV*

I look over to see Bo lying face down, either acting as if she's sleeping or really is sleeping. I feel my eyes drifting in and out of consciousness, but fight to keep them open. Eventually, my eyelids drift to a close and I fall into a deep sleep.

When I awaken, I hear chains rattling and I see one guard lying face down, unconscious. The other is having the life sucked out of him by yours truly. When Bo's done, she looks at me with her aqua blue eyes and smiles.

Her smile is too eery for my liking and I have to turn away to break from her gaze. She immediately runs up to me and unties me from my chair. Her eyes are back to normal, but she has a strange flair to her after having her feeding spree.

"Bo, are you alright?" She nods and smiles, "I feel amazing. So refreshed." Immediately after she said that, I hear the doors leading into this chamber open. In come to huge guys and they're already fuming.

She stands in front of me and I feel safe and protected. The two guys come charging at us, but Bo deflects them instantly. I decide to slip through the door to go unlock all exits while Bo was fighting them off.

I get to the security room and I'm faced with the king of this whole charade; Vex. "Oooh, the little doctor is finally trying to grow a pair." I look at him with fear and disgust, but mainly fear. "Does Evony know what you're doing to us?" He laughs and his wickedness seeps through his voice. "Of course, stupid doctor. Who do you think does her bidding?"

It takes me a few seconds before I realize that he means that he does her bidding. I don't have to time to further question him because I hear Bo come in behind him.

She is carrying a knife and she grabs him from behind, putting the knife to his neck. "What the hell do you think you're doing?" I hear Bo shout. He puts his hands up and begins to stutter, "Woah, darling, its all a little game." I almost feel Bo's anger rise as he says that. "Playing with someone's life is not a game. Now, how about I play a game?" He looks scared shitless as she turns him around and she sucks his life force, causing him to fall to the floor.

She looks at him for a few mere seconds and then she runs over to me, wrapping her arms around me, kissing me with a fierce passion.

When she pulled back she put her hands on my upper arms and whispered, "You take my breath away." I smile and whisper back, "Breathless?" She leans in and brushes her lips against mine and then slightly moans back, "Completely."

We get interrupted by a phone ringing, then realized it was Bo's. She answered and I knew it was Kenzi. "Kenz, we're on the way to Lauren's. I'll see you later."

Bo turned back and looked at me, smiling. "I'm sorry. I just didn't know what to tell her at the moment." I looked back intently and said, "It's okay. Would you like to go back to my ransacked place?" She smiles and nods, "Of course, Ms. Lewis."

We head out to the lot and I remember that my car is here because Vex made me drive it here. Literally. Him and his stupid mind control.

When we got in the car, I could tell Bo was tired and so was I, but I could also tell Bo was riled up from feeding off of such powerful creatures. "Bo, are you okay?" She fidgeted, looked out the window, and said, "Yeah. Just a little, uhm..." I chuckled and she looked up to me, embarrassed.

I assured her that it would he alright. I was actually shocked that she was still this vulnerable around me sometimes. I loved knowing I had the affect to do this to such a beautifully broken, but strong woman.

When we pulled into my drive, she looked over at me and she looked a little disappointed. "What's wrong?" She shook her head. "Nothing, I just feel horrible for dragging you even further into this shitty world." I reached out and caressed her hand, comforting her and looked her in the eye.

"Bo, I chose this. I chose this to save the girl I loved. Now, I love you. I'll do anything to the best of my ability to save you from danger and even the Dark." She let one single tear flow down her cheek and I could see that, for me, she once again let her wall down and she kissed me.

She kissed me with sadness and love. I had a feeling it would be over as soon as it started, but sadness quickly turned into fire and love into desire. I couldn't control my hormones as she pulled back, breathing heavily.

I could tell Bo's inner fae was coming out once I saw her mouth tug at the corners, and her signature smirk spreading across, adding even more sexiness to this already hot goddess.

I know I'll never get tired of this wonderful woman, but the question was, would she get tired of me..?
