crack and shatter.

i wonder
just how long
it will take

for people to realize

that shit can hurt.

words are so powerful

aren't they
it takes but a single syllable
to change
everything

yes, but why can't you understand that
how long do i have to wait
before you do
how long have i been waiting
i don't want to wait anymore

i'm only human, after all
and i crack a little
when you push me to the ground

but i can't just go on with a cracked soul
one day
i
just
might
shatter
