crashlanding [poetry]

sun.

in the grand scheme
of things

we tend to
forget basic
knowledge of elementary

things
like
the solar system

for one, sun isn't gone
when the moon
blocks it out

it's always there, though we
can't always see it
sometimes, shrouded in darkness
but still, waiting to reveal itself

you just have to look a little harder
and smile to yourself
cause when the right time comes

the sun,
whatever it is for you
will call your name

and hug you tight
