- Luhan -

I rented a limousine for the night because I wanted it to be special. "Luhan, you didn't have to-"

"I always do. For you." I replied.

I kissed her cheek and she blushed. I opened the door for her and we climbed inside. We rode to the party and then hopped out. All the guests were staring at us.

"Um...Luhan? Why is everybody looking at us?" she whispered.

"Because I'm with an amazingly beautiful girl like you." I whispered back, smirking as I leaned close to her ear. She blushed once again and we walked inside. Kai came up to us.

"Hey, what's up?" Kai said and we did the usual bro handshake. Normal guy thing. "And who....is....this?" he said slowly, walking and eyeing (Y/N). "Like I said before. I only have my eyes on one girl, and that's (Y/N)." I replied and grinned at her. She smile back genuinely.

"(Y/N)? You look so....so....different! What happened to the glasses? The nerdiness?" KaI exclaimed, in so much shock he lost his manners. I punched him in the arm hard and he started rubbing it while pouting.

"Aish.....sorry, (Y/N). Have fun during the party!" Kai said and waved as he ran away. "Sorry about Kai...he doesn't watch his mouth." I apologized. "Oh, it's fine. I'm used to it." she said quietly. I look at her, confused.

Used to it?

I shrugged the thought away and we walked to the center of the party. There was this guy who came up to (Y/N). He grabbed her hand and kissed it. "The name's Kris. And you are?" he asked smoothly, but with a Chinese accent. She was too nervous to reply.

"My girlfriend." I butted in.

He glared at me and walked away. Before disappearing into the crowd, he turned around. "This won't be the last time we meet, my love!" he waved at (Y/N) and walked away. I scoffed and turned to see a surprised (Y/N).

"Luhan, I know we just arrived...but I don't feel comfortable here. I'm really sorry." she explained. "No, I feel the same way. We can go somewhere else instead." I replied and we walked out.

"Leaving so soon?" somebody asked behind us. I turned around to see Kai and another guy. "Oh, yeah. We don't feel like partying right now." I said. "Well, before you go, you guys should meet Sehun. He is one of my closest friends." Kai introduced.

We greeted each other and I pulled (Y/N) closer to me just in case. Her hand started to get sweaty as she noticed Sehun staring at her.

"Well..." I interrupted. "We gotta go. See you later, dude." We climbed into the limo. "Where are we going?" (Y/N) asked curiously.

"You'll see." I smirked and she punched me on the shoulder lightly. "Jerk." she muttered jokingly. I just laughed and told the driver the secret address.

We arrived at the park 10 minutes later. I already blindfolded (Y/N) for the surprise. I guided her out of the car and brought her to the center of the park. "What's going on?" she giggled while extending her arms out.

"Okay, we're here." I laughed.

I untied her blindfold and she rubbed her eyes. She looked around and blankly blinked twice. Then she realized where we were and gasped.

"Luhan.....I.....I....." she stuttered in shock. She smiled and hugged me tightly.

"Welcome back to the place that holds our memories." I exclaimed. She giggled and we walked over to the slide. She crouched down next to it and looked up at me.

"Do you remember that day? I was right here, and I called you over. I gave you that bracelet." she said, pointing to my wrist.

"I'm surprised you didn't lose it."

"Are you kidding me? I barely took it off!" I replied. "For 11 years? " she laughed surprisingly. I nodded and grabbed her hand.

"You know, I've really missed you." I whispered while caressing the back of her hand. "I've missed you, too. I've been pretty lonely for the past years." she whispered back. I brought her over to the bench and we sat down.

"Why are people so mean to you? I mean, I've seen the way they've treated you." I mumbled. "Well....I am the school nerd. I get bullied, people steal my homework, they make me do their homework, I eat alone at lunch, and I cry myself to sleep. That's been like that ever since you left."

I was speechless. I felt like it was my fault for leaving her for all these years. I didn't know what to do except one thing. I cupped her face and kissed her. She was startled, but soon kissed back. She wrapped her arms around my neck. We pulled away and I gazed into her beautiful brown eyes that I've grown so fond of.

".....I love you...." we whispered in unison. We both giggled and kissed once more. Believe it or not, we still weren't a couple.

We were two friends that have loved each other for so long and kiss whenever we feel the need to.

But not a couple.

Yet.
