- Luhan -

Today was Saturday, so I was able to visit (Y/N). I walked to her house and knocked. Her mother opened the door.

"Oh, annyeong Luhan!" she greeted. "Annyeonghaseyo! Um, is (Y/N) here? I don't have schedules today so I thought we could hang out." I explained. "Yeah, she's right upstairs!" she replied. I nodded and walked upstairs. I knocked softly on her door.

"Jagiya....." I sang.

The door opened and I found a beaming (Y/N). "Hey, Luhan!" she said and hugged me. She brought me into her room and we sat down on the floor.

"So....I have no schedules today! We can go out on a date!" I said. "Okay! Um....is it okay if we see your group? I really want to meet them!" she pleaded.  "No problem!" I replied and we went to SM.

After taking 45 minutes to about as much as an hour, we left the building. "I don't think I can remember everybody!" she laughed. "Eh...you get used to it. After all, you are going to be seeing them a lot if you date me." She shrugged and we walked out of SM, hand in hand.

But we didn't even know that somebody was watching us very closely.

---

"So where do you want to go now?" I asked her. "Oh, how about - wait! Luhan, do you see that black car behind us? It's been trailing us for quite some time now." she whispered, turning around. I turned her forward again. "Don't stare at it. I know that car." I mumbled. She looked at me with wide eyes full of fear.

"SM."

"Why would they follow us?" she asked with a shaky voice. "I don't know, but we have to try and shake them." I replied.

I grabbed her hand and we started running. The engine roared behind us as it sped up.

We turned the corner and kept running. We went into an empty building just as the car turned the corner. I peeked out the window and watched the car make another turn and disappear from sight. I helped her stand up and we gasped for air. "That was close." she huffed.

"Yeah. Now we have to just get to your house then I need to go back to the dorm." I explained. She nodded quickly and we ran the opposite way the car went and ran to her house. She dragged me inside and we locked the door. "Be careful." she whispered, looking into my eyes.

I stared down into her mesmerizing eyes. She went on her toes and kissed me. I wrapped my arms around her waist and she put her arms around my neck. It was sweet and passionate, because she probably needed me now more than ever.

We pulled away due to lack of air. "Don't let anybody in or out of your house. They will come after you. Stay safe. Okay?" I whispered. She nodded and hugged me.

I let go of her and walked out the door. I looked around, making sure that there was nobody watching. Then I sprinted to the dorms. I safely arrived and ran into my dorm.

"Woah! Dude, what the hell are you doing?" Sehun exclaimed. "Trying to run from a car." I replied. He looked at me questioningly but then shrugged. "So.....you're girlfriend is pretty hot." he mumbled, changing the subject.

"Uh...yeah." I said weirdly.

"Just tell her to lose the glasses. She looks like a nerd." he said. "Wow, thanks for sugar coating it! No, I like her with the glasses. It's who she is." I replied. After that, there was 5 minutes of silence. "Luhan." he whispered.

"What?" I asked. "Don't hurt her. Even when we leave, just don't hurt her."

I nodded.

Leave.

That word always gave me the chills. We were going to China in three and a half weeks. had to leave her for  1 year.

How can I not hurt her when I say that? I already left once, and it was painful.  On the second time around, it might be unbearable.  She has changed a lot ever since the last time I saw her. Who knows what she might be like a year from now?

She could get in with the popular crowd. Or maybe she will get bullied to the point where...I don't want to talk about it. But I can't turn down SM. I signed a contract. I mean, (Y/N) and I can video chat, right? And we can text and email. It's like I'll be right there with her.

Right?

Oh, who am I kidding. No matter how hard we try, it won't be the same. But all we can do is just hope that we get to see each other's face every day to know that we will be reunited again.

- You -

It was the next day and I got a text from Luhan.

"Meet me in the park in 10."

I smiled to myself and held the phone to my chest as I sighed happily. What surprise does he have for me this time? I put on the same dress I wore to the party. I quickly walked to the park and sat by the swing, waiting.

The sun was shining and the birds were chirping louder and happier than ever. The weather was cool and refreshing. The day seemed perfect.

"Hey." somebody whispered into my ear. Their breath tickling your my and I giggled. I turned around and saw Luhan. "Hey." I mimicked. He sat next to me and took out a rose from somewhere.

He handed it to me. "Thanks, Luhan. So what did you want to meet for?" I said. "Um..." he mumbled, fumbling with his fingers. He always did that when he was nervous.

"Luhan...just tell me..." I said. "Promise me you won't get mad?" he asked. "Well, that depends on what it is. Just tell me!" I laughed, oblivious of the situation.

"I am going to China for a year." he grumbled, barely audible. I couldn't understand him because it was too low and quiet. "What?" I asked, trying to get him to repeat it. He looked me straight in the eyes sadly.

"(Y/N), I am going to China for a year." he clearly stated.

At first, I was confused. What was he talking about? Then, I repeated the words in my head as I slowly began to understand.

"B-But...b-but..." I stuttered in shock. "(Y/N), I am sorry." he whispered.  He pulled me into a hug and I cried into his chest. After I calmed down, I pulled away. "Are you mad?" he asked, scared.

"Honestly, Luhan, I am not mad. I am sad, depressed, and I feel like I've been stabbed 10 times in the heart. But I am everything except mad." I explained truthfully.  "I understand. You have to go." I added. He nodded.

"But I'm not leaving for 3 weeks, so we can make the best of it!" he said, trying to cheer me up.

"Yeah, I guess you're right."
