Read the Author's Note on the last chapter in order for this chapter to make sense. BTW, this chapter is going to go SO fast, because I want to wrap this story up. I'm so sorry if it gets confusing, but just please bear with me. OH! And "Y" at the bottom of the chapter means that you should replace it with your FIRST INITIAL.

- Luhan -

Manager Lee was calling me into his office after a tedious practice. I sat down on the chair in front of his desk and patiently waited for him to say something.

"Luhan..." he sighed, fixing a stack of papers in the middle of the desk. I didn't reply because if I did, my voice probably would have cracked from anxiety.

"I'm getting your contract terminated."

"WHAT? WHY?" I screamed and jumped up from my seat, not afraid of talking anymore. "I've been observing you over the past couple of weeks. You aren't the same person that I casted ever since you were involved in that accident. I'm sorry, Luhan, but my decision is final."

He instructed me to pack my belongings and leave without telling any of the other members. I was crushed; my lifelong dream was just ripped away from under me. I silently left the office, to shocked to speak another word again. It took about 3 hours for packing while the other members were still at practice.

They didn't offer me a ride home, so I took the bus. I wasn't an idol anymore, so it didn't matter. I realized that I was the only person on the bus, so I fell asleep as soon as possible, slowly adapting to the rumble of the bus wheels against the crumbly road. It let out a slight hum that was comforting to my ears and soothed me for some reason.

From here on out, I would start a new life. A normal life, where I didn't have to worry about being bombarded with fans. A life where I didn't have to deprive myself of sleep with practicing for performances. A peaceful life at last.

- You -

It's been many weeks since the accident, and I am disappointed to say that I haven't found him. I was sure that we were going to cross paths at least once, but no. So I gave up, but secretly hoped that he would appear one day.

I was on my way to the airport with eomma. I didn't remember her at first, but she was able to show me how we were related. I discovered that she was the woman crying in my hospital room, and the man was her boyfriend. He was overseas, just like appa before, and he won't be back for another 4 months.

I never regained my hearing. I couldn't speak, so everybody I knew learned sign language just to communicate with me. I felt like they really cared about me, but a large piece of my heart was still missing.

This place was reserved for the boy I've been searching for. Even if I didn't know who he was, he was able to reach the soft side of my heart unlike many others.

I needed to get him out of my head because I felt like it was never going to happen. To keep my mind off of things, I focused on our destination. We were flying back to South Korea to live there again. The Philippines just wasn't working out for my mother, apparently.

I was going to restart my life. A brand new me, because I can't remember my old self anymore. Sometimes, it dawned on me that I wasn't the same girl I was. Even if I completely forgot that girl, I sensed I was more....free.

- Time Skip: Arrived at Destination of Incheon Airport -

My head was pounding, as well as my heart. On that plane ride, I remembered a bit of my past but kept it to myself. I hated planes ever since appa crash landed, right?

Baby steps, (Y/N), baby steps.

Well, my stomach was churning and made me want to puke. So I immediately ran to the bathroom and took care of my business there.

As I was walking out, a tall male figure passed in front of me. I accidentally crashed into him and tumbled to the ground, my purse scattering its belongings all over the floor.

I groaned in my head and reached for my phone, which the guy's hand also did. I was scared. No, that's an understatement. I was terrified, because I thought he might steal it.

I quickly grabbed the phone and reluctantly looked up at the man. He had light brown hair and a small face. For a second, he reminded me of the boy in the picture, which caused me to smile. It was stupid to think it was him. His eyes were a different color than the boy in the image.

But as I looked back down on his wrist, my gaze averted to the brown string bracelet that held two small stones which were engraved,

"Y + L".

Then it all clicked.
