Chapter 17

- You -

Today was the day of the prom. Joohyun wasn't here to help me with my make up, so I attempted it yourself. It turned out really good, so I was satisfied.

I slipped on my dress and curled my hair. Finally, I slipped on my silver heels and waited for GD. The doorbell rang and I opened it. He was wearing a black suit with a flower, but a snap back on his head. "You look nice!" I complimented. "Thanks. You look really beautiful." he replied. I blushed as he grabbed my hand and walked to his car.

We drove to the prom at his school. I could hear the blaring music as I walked down the hallway. He opened the door for me and I stepped inside.

He joined me and we looked around. The music stopped abruptly and everybody stared at the two of us. The girls looked angry as they watched their dates staring at me.

I starts blushing crazily from all the embarrassment. One of the guys came up to GD. "This is your date? You never mentioned that she was this hot." he whispered loudly. "Yeah, well it would have been nice if I knew it before I saw it." he said and smiled at you.

He had such a cute smile.

GD signaled for the DJ to play the music again. He grabbed my hand and led me to the dance floor. A slow song came on and my hands were around his neck as his were around my waist. We let the music take control.

I leaned your head on his shoulder and kept dancing. The song ended and I sat down. "Are you having a good time? Because if not, we can just leave and eat out." he said. "I'm okay." I replied.

He got me some punch and we sat quietly at the table. "Excuse me. I have to go to the bathroom." he whispered and left. I tapped my fingers on the table out of boredom and sipped my punch.

Somebody sat in front of me. It was the guy from before. He looked pretty tall for a Filipino. But he looked mostly American. "Hi." he smiled.

"Uh...hey." I said weirdly. He scooted closer to me and I scooted away. He scooted even closer. Before I could scoot away again, he grabbed my arm. I gave up and he let go.

"You look pretty tonight." he said. I ignored him and glanced at the door to see if GD was back yet.

Nope.

I felt a hand on my leg. He started rubbing his hand up and down my thigh slowly. m "Get away from me." I growled. "Why, baby?" he asked.

He smirked and started rubbing my thigh a little faster.

Please don't...

Then he collapsed to the floor as he fell off of his chair. I gasped and stood up quickly, looking to see what caused it. GD was cleaning his knuckle from the guy's blood. He had an angry look plastered on his face as he grabbed my hand and walked me out.

"(Y/N), are you okay? Did he hurt you?" GD asked worriedly. "Calm down, I'm perfectly fine." I lied. I was shaking like crazy. "I'll just take you home." he replied, but I shook my head. "No, this is your night. I don't want to ruin it, so we can just do something fun." I smiled. He laughed and led me to his car again.

We went for a midnight drive in Baguio.

We opened the sunroof and all of the windows to stick our heads out of and get some fresh air.

When we arrived back at my aunt's house,  GD walked me up to the door. "Thanks for tonight." I said. "Thank you for coming with me." he laughed. "I'm sorry you missed your prom." I apologized.

"It's fine. You're worth it."

When it came close to our debut, I knew I wouldn't have as much time for (Y/N) as I did before. But I was willing to make it work.

All that mattered was that she said she still loved me. So that was what pushed me through everything. But one day, I just couldn't take it anymore. I needed to see her and make things right, before this becomes permanent.

"Hyung." I called, staring up at the ceiling in the middle of the night. "Couldn't sleep?" he instantly replied. "Yeah. But I have a question." I mumbled, moving my arms behind my head. "What is it?"

"Do you want to come with me to the Philippines?"
