- Luhan -

I couldn't believe it.

Was it really her?

I wasn't sure, so I played it safe. "Hi, what's your name?" I asked. She looked down, majorly disappointed. "(Y/N)." she replied quietly.

My heart pounded and I wrapped my arms around her, not wanting to let her go ever again. Soon, I felt her hug me back. We pulled away and I stared into her eyes.

"Long time no see." I smiled. "Yeah...." she replied, almost daydreaming.

She has gotten a lot prettier, if that's even possible.

"I can't believe, that after all these years, I am finally reunited with my lov....best friend!" I exclaimed, catching my secret at the end. "Me, too. I've missed you so much." she whispered, a small tear rolling down her cheek. I hugged her again until we heard the bell ring.

"Dry your tears. No need to cry anymore. I am here once again and that's all that matters." I explained. She nodded and I walked her to class which, miraculously, I was in too. I sat down next to her and didn't let go of her hand. I heard remarks erupting from each end of the classroom.

"Yah, why is she holding hands with Luhan-oppa?"

"I hate her so much right now."

"Why her?"

"He can do a lot better than that."

"He's so hot."

"Isn't she that freak, (Y/N)?"

I have had just about enough of this. I stood up and slapped my hand on the desk, causing everybody to look at me. Fortunately, the professor was not here yet.

"Don't say that about my (Y/N)! She is the best thing that's ever happened to me so shut up about your stupid comments. Got it?"

I was furious. Nobody talks about the love of my life like that.

- You -

Did he just say his (Y/N)?

Oh, good gracious.

I've never seen him this angry, except for when he was protecting his most cherished things from other people.

Was I that special to him?

Oh, don't be silly. One small girl wouldn't mean that much to an amazing guy like him. But on the inside, as you were thinking about this, your heart was breaking.

You wanted to be special to him.

You wanted it so badly.

- Luhan -

Class ended without another remark about (Y/N). "Hey!" I said, grabbing her wrist as she was about to walk out.

"Um...I was...er...wondering if you...maybe...uh....wanted to....." I stuttered nervously. Why was I so scared? I've known her forever, I shouldn't be like this.

She looked at me curiously, signaling for me to go on. "....Meet me in the school garden after school?" I finished. She smiled brightly and nodded. "Wouldn't miss it for the world. Oh, I have to go. See you later!" she replied and ran off. But before she left, she gave me a quick peck on my cheek.

I shoved my hands in my pocket and walked out of class. "Hey, my little Luhan. Do you need a tour around school?" somebody whispered seductively in my ear, sending shivers down my spine.

What was even worse was that she kissed me on the cheek, just like (Y/N). I backed away and started to identify her. She had long black hair, plump lips, big brown eyes, and rosy cheeks. She was wearing the same thing as (Y/N).

"No, I'm good." I said, my cheeks burning hot. She walked over to me and grabbed my hands. "Are you sure?" she asked, doing an excessive and slighlty revolting amount of aegyo.

I ripped my hands away and she gasped. "Uh, yeah. I'm sure." I scoffed and walked away. I bumped into my new friend, Kai, that I met the minute I walked in. "Dude, you just turned down SoHee. What the hell is wrong with you?" he mumbled, slapping my arm. "SoHee? Why? What's so special about her?" I asked.

He scoffed. "Bro, she is the hottest girl at our school. Guys are drooling over her, especially me." Kai said, staring at her. "Well, I'm not. I only have my eyes on one girl, and that's (Y/N)." I smiled.

"(Y/N)? The nerd? Why would you have a crush on her?" he asked, surprised yet disgusted.

"Nerd? What are you talking about?"

This conversation was moving so slow. I just needed an answer! I feel like 10 minutes has already passed, mostly taken up by the time Kia spent gawking at SoHee. Before Kai could reply, his friend dragged him away. "Yo, did you see the fight outside?" he whispered. "No, what fight?" he asked curiously.

"SoHee and that nerd. SoHee beat her up like hell!" his friend said. I widened my eyes and ran outside. The crowd was starting to scatter, and soon only (Y/N) was left.

On the ground.

"(Y/N)! (Y/N)!" I yelled, crouching beside her. Her face was covered in cuts and bruises. She was unresponsive. I picked her up bridal style and sprinted to the nurses office.

The nurse told me to lie her down on the bed, and then she pulled me outside. "What on earth happened to that poor girl?" she asked, horrified. "Well, you see, there was a-"

"She fell." somebody interrupted me.

I turned to see SoHee and immediately felt the anger build up inside of me. "She tripped and fell onto the pavement. She can be a major klutz." SoHee lied.

You little liar.

"Oh, well thank you for the information." the nurse said and walked back inside. "Why, you little-" I started.

She held her hand up, stopping me. "If I ever see you making contact with her again, well, let's just say that there will be a few more....accidents."

"You wouldn't." I growled. "Try me. You're mine. Got it? Good." she said and walked away.
