Chapter 20

- Luhan -

As (Y/N) was walking up the stairs, I turned back to GD. "So...how do you guys know each other?" I asked him. "My mom and her aunt arranged for us to go to my prom together. It didn't go so well, but we still bonded." he explained, shrugging as he reminisced the night.

I nodded and fell silent. "How do you know her?" he finally asked. "She and I are best friends. We've known each other since diapers." I replied, smiling as I thought of (Y/N) and I as children, but not mentioning our true relationship status. "Can I let you in on a little secret?" he whispered dramatically, leaning close to my ear.

"GD, we're friends, aren't we?" I laughed, obviously thinking that it really wasn't of the utmost importance

"Luhan, I think I like (Y/N)."

My eyes widened and I stared at him in disbelief. "Seriously?" I gasped. He nodded and looked away. "You like her, too. Don't you?" he sighed. I was going to let (Y/N) break the news of our relationship to GD.

"Of course not. We've known each other too long, that it would be weird if we actually dated." I lied quickly, realizing that what I said made no sense whatsoever.

"Oh, okay. But do you mind setting me up? You are really close to her. She seems like the only girl for me." he pleaded.

"I'm sorry, GD, but you have to do this on your own. (Y/N) doesn't like guys who don't have any courage." I responded, trying to fight him off. He shook his head and sighed once more.

"Hey, guys." a voice said behind us. (Y/N) was descending the staircase, leaving Xiumin in the room. "Oh, hi!" I greeted, waving my hand awkwardly. "So Luhan, I was wondering if we could hang out today? I don't want to waste another minute without you." she said, placing a hand on my shoulder.

In the doorway, GD shifted uncomfortably. "I'm going to go now. It seems that you already have company. Ill see you later, (Y/N)." GD mumbled and sulked down the doorsteps.

(Y/N) covered her mouth and sighed. "Oh my gosh, I feel so bad for leaving him. What do I do, what do I do?" she muttered to herself, biting her lip as she removed her hand from her face.

"Don't worry, you can hang out with him after I leave. But for right now, it is just you and me. We have a couple of days left, so why not make them the best days of our lives?"

She nodded and intertwined our fingers while looking up at me. "I'm really glad that you came to visit me. I don't know what I would do without you." she sighed.

"You would be dating GD."

She slapped my arm. "Shut up." she muttered jokingly. "Come on, let's be real here. Obviously you like him." I whispered. She shrugged dissmissively, but I shook my head.

"I don't mind you have feelings for him. Just as long as you're mine, I don't care about anybody else."

An abandoned amusement park was where we decided to stay. Having a large place like that to ourselves was amazing. But our fun was interrupted by my phone ringing.

"Yeoboseyo?"

"Luhan, Manager Hyung just called. He found out we left, and we're in big trouble!" Xiumin screamed into the phone.

I bit my lip nervously. What was I supposed to tell him? I looked at (Y/N) who was staring at the run - down carousel. "Xiumin, tell him it's a surprise arranged with the debut director. He has to watch the screen behind Kris, Chen, Tao, and Lay to see us." I decided and hug up, heaving a stressful sigh.

"Luhannie, what's wrong?" (Y/N) questioned, walking up to me. I just shook my head and smiled weakly. "Nothing. Now let's continue with our date before dusk falls, because I'm debuting tomorrow."

She nodded understandingly and we walked throughout the amusement park, with heavy thoughts flooding my mind all night.
