Lily stopped sleeping in the girls dorm her seventh year when she became head girl and got her own dorm room.
Dorcas Meadows, although being a Gryffindor, spent most of her time in the Ravenclaw common room with her boyfriend Caradoc Dearborn.
Marlene McKinnon almost never slept in the dorm room because she was always in the boys' dorm room (of any house. She didn't discriminate). Until her and Sirius started dating in their seventh year.
Mary McDonald liked to study in her dorm room. She could almost always be found up there or in the library
Hestia Jones wanted to be a journalist, so she spend most of her time chasing stories.
Boys- James Potter, Sirius Black, Peter Pettigrew, and Remus Lupin
The four marauders were practically inseparable. The only time they were apart was when Remus was in the library. (The great Sirius could NOT go the library, Moony. Are you crazy?!)
There was no fifth person in the dorm room because, while Frank Longbottom was in their year, he stayed in the dorm room for the students a year younger than him. The first year he was only in the dorm room to sleep.
