Lily found out about Remus really early on. She discovered it before Snape, yet told him that Remus was not a werewolf. That was the only lie Lily ever told Snape.
Lily always left chocolate next to Remus in the hospital wing for when he woke up. Lily know his favorite band of chocolate and always made sure to stock up on it every hogsmead visit.
Lily never asked James to stay back on the full moon. Not even when she was eight and a half months pregnant and could go into labor at any moment.
Lily made should that Remus was not scheduled for prefect duty on the days around the full moon, even taking his shifts without telling him that it was her.
Lily was one of Remus's best friends, right alongside with the marauders
