Hana:

I walk towards Julian, a smile slipping onto my face. He's smiling as well. It's a amazing thing to see a familiar face in what seems like a whole new world.

He walks over to me and wraps me in my arms immediately. He doesn't stop to think about the fact that I am cured; the fact that I might hurt him.

"Hana, what are you doing here?" Julian asks after our lingering hug.

I shrug and say:

"I don't know. I wanted it. I wanted love. So I went for it. I came here with Alex" -at his name, Julian tenses slightly- "and, well now I don't know what will happen."

He nods, but still looks confused.

"Can that happen?" He asks hesitantly. "Can someone lose the cure?"

"I have no idea," I answer truthfully, expecting this question. "It was never really there; it didn't work properly. It just feels as if the cure is cracking, breaking off me in layers. Opening up to the old me more each time, except now I'm not afraid. Not afraid to love."

"That's great!" He exclaims, the first person to really seem happy for me. "Love... Love is great."

His voice cracks a little as he says the last part. I can tell that he felt more for Lena than she felt for him. He dove into love completely, just as Lena had all those months ago. He made more of it than there was. I feel this sudden urge to protect him. I still felt like she was in the wrong here, I feel that I would do anything to save him from this pain that comes with love.

We sit down by the base of a tree and just talk. Talk about our lives and everything that has happened. There is this one moment when we both forget to talk for about 30 seconds and I get lost in his eyes. His eyes are a blue that you would never really notice if you weren't looking at them. It is subdued but had little flecks of darker blue at the edge of his iris. I get a tingly feeling that starts in my chest and spreads throughout my whole body.

To soon it is time to go. The sky is completely dark and the stars shine in the blackness of it. Julian gives me one last hug that lasts a couple seconds too long, but neither of us care. I look into his eyes once more before turning on my heel and walking in the other direction, wondering about this light feeling that fills me and lifts me up. Wondering if I've found what I came here for.
