My heart began to beat rapidly against my chest. If this is all real, then Crowley could really hurt me.
I swallowed hard before answering. "You promise my mom will be safe?"
The man raised his eyebrows and nodded. "You have my word." He let go of the force that was holding me pinned against the wall and allowed me to sit on the couch.
"Okay I was at the store yesterday and I happened to see one of my favorite actors from my favorite television show. I went up to him, thinking his name was Jensen, but when I brought up his "name", he said his name was Dean. Then I seen my second favorite actor walking down the aisle and when I thought he was Jared, he said his name was Sam. I thought they were role-"
"Cut to the part where you tell me where they were headed." Crowley demanded.
"Oh right," I began to shift, his company making me uncomfortable. "Um, I don't know where they were headed. To them I was probably some weird crazy fan. They wouldn't have told me where they were going."
I finished talking and I waited for Crowley to answer back. He smiled at me and I smiled back at him when I suddenly felt a rush of pain on my side. The pain was so severe, it had me lunging forward and grabbing my side.
"What the hell are you doing to me?!" I yelled as loud as I could hoping the yelling would stop my pain.
Crowley laughed that laugh that I've heard numerous times on the show. "You've proved worthless to me. So now I'm going to have fun and torture you slowly until you die."
My sudden rib pain was soon welcomed with a burning sensation in my throat. I could no longer breathe and was spitting up blood. The iron taste in my mouth went unnoticed as I heard a cracking sound coming from my arm.
I screamed in agony. The pain was becoming almost unbearable. My breathing was coming to a halt when I heard a loud bang and felt arms wrap around me, my blurry vision turning into darkness.
********
A bright light shined through my eyelids, waking me up but making it hard to open my eyes.
I began to slightly move, immediately remembering the pain I went through almost a few hours before.
"She's waking up," I heard a familiar and deep, raspy voice whisper.
"Shut up. You're going to wake her up." Another familiar voice said.
"She's already awake." The deep voice said louder.
I opened my eyes slowly, and then all at once. I was staring into the forest green eyes in front of me and look around at my surroundings. It looked like we were in a crappy hotel that reeked of mildew sewer.
"W-where am I?" I could barely choke out. My throat was so dry, the Sahara desert would be jealous.
"We're at a nice hotel, waiting for Cas to come back from checking on your mom." The green eyed man said.
My eyes went wide at the instant mention of my mother, and I sit up quickly, feeling sore in every part of my body. I winced from the pain and I felt a hand try to lay me back down.
"You'll have to rest a little. Cas healed you, but he's running low on angel juice, so he said you might be a little sore." Dean nervously laughed.
"Cas? As in Castiel? The 'angel of the lord'." I asked air quoting what Castiel said in the show.
"You got it." A voice from the other side of the room said. "What else do you know about this supernatural world?" The voice came out from behind what looked like the bathroom door.
Sam stood in the doorway of the bathroom, pulling a gray shirt over his head and onto his bare body. Although he still had jeans on, I couldn't help but stare at the few seconds of bare chest and abs that I received. He was always my favorite. So innocent and sweet but such a tough personality.
Whereas Dean, he was sexy as hell but his strong personality went with his appearance. He had that "mess with me and I'll fight you" look. That was one thing I loved about Dean and his character in the show.
But this wasn't a show.
"Look, you don't have to-" Sam began to say as a response to my silence.
"The hell she doesn't. I want to know what she knows about us and everything we've done, been through and will be going through." Dean said getting up off the bed that I was laying on.
"Look, Dean. If she tells us anything about our future, we might change the future, which more times than not, will be extra bad. Especially for us." Sam said as he looked at Dean with his puppy dog eyes.
Dean took a deep breath, relieving his annoyance. He looked at me and then back at Sam. "What the hell do we do with fangirl here then?"
"I'm sitting right here. I can only hear you guys talking." I said annoyed. "Can someone please tell me that this is all a joke. Or pinch me because this has to be some twisted dream I'm in."
"Just last week I was watching you guys on my T.V. and then this week I find out that you guys are actually real, Jensen and Jared had never existed, and that monsters are actually real." I spoke. It was all so surreal to me. I just couldn't wrap my head around any of this.
"We're sorry but-" Sam began to speak but I interrupted him.
"I'm not done talking," I sat up, getting ready to get some answers to my questions. "Since you guys are hunters and have hunted practically everything possible and have been through hell and back, literally, can one of you guys maybe tell me how this happened to me? I legit thought you guys were actors. Which brings me to another question. Why didn't you guys try to convince me that you weren't Jared and Jensen and just allowed me to think you were?"
Dean walked in front of Sam before he had a chance to respond to my question. "Sweetheart, we are not your parents to be watching over you and making sure you don't do stupid crap around people. You believed we were these two guys, so we just went along with it. Well, actually Sam went along with it but I said I wasn't Jensen." Dean walked away and walked to a small round table that was pushed against the wall. He sat down on the small chair that was placed beside it and placed his dirty boots on top.
Sam came and he sat down on the bed in front of me. "Listen, we don't know what's going on. We know jusy about as much as you do. In the past we found out that our lives were being written by a man named Chuck. We told him to stop publishing books and he did. All of the books and stories ever made were called back and thrown away." He placed his large hand on my leg, giving me a sympathetic look.
"I just wish I knew what was going on. Like is it even possible to switch through dimensions without even knowing?"
Sam shrugged his shoulders and walked to the table that Dean was sitting at. Only a few seconds later, a loud bang was heard at the door.
I became frightened and Dean got up to check who it was. He looked in the peephole and then opened the door.
A man walked in wearing a long trench coat and I almost laughed because of all of the fanfiction I used to make of him and his trench coat.
"Hi Marissa. How are you doing." He spoke with such a scratchy deep voice. It was weird hearing it outside of my t.v. screen.
"I'm good. I'm a little sore but I'm not immobile. How's my mom?"
Cas looked at both men for a time long enough to make me worry.
"Cas, what did you do?" Sam asked.
"Cas? I asked how was my mom?" I said a little louder. My heart began to thump harder than usual. I was honestly scared to hear Castiel's answer. What if Crowley didn't keep his promise and he hurt my mom? He is a demon after all. Just like the show always said, you can't trust any demons because demons lie.
"I'm sorry Marissa," he began. "But I had to erase your mother's memory of you to keep her safe."
