I quickly made my way off of Sam as I looked towards the sound that the voice came from. Dean was no longer asleep and was now giving me this hard glare that made me shift uncomfortably. Sam on the other hand, slowly retrieved his shirt from the floor and put it back on as if Dean's glare didn't bug him.
"I-I'm..." I couldn't even finish a coherent sentence. I was honestly embarrassed that I was so quick to kiss Sam, even after I have known them for a few days. Was I wrong do to that?
"Oh please. Don't stop on my account, sweetheart." Dean continued to hard glare Sam and I. Sam just laughed and I maintained my still position.
"I'm...I didn't mean to. I'm sorry." I rushed out of the room, the air suddenly became too thick to inhale. I let the door slam and I ran across the lot to get as far away from the motel room as possible. Thank goodness it wasn't too cold because I did not want to go back to the room just to get a sweater.
I walked towards the pool that the motel had available for the customers. The pool was gated but it was unlocked. I walked in and sat along the pool wall, allowing my feet to dangle inside the water. The water was cold and it cooled down the heat that my body gave off after that slightly embarrassing moment.
Was kissing Sam wrong? Is that why Dean was so upset? Why would he be mad though? It is not like Sam and I are going to fall in love or anything. Or at least Sam won't fall in love with me, because who would? Maybe Dean was jealous? No that's crazy. He is Dean Winchester. The flirtatious guy who gets inside girls pants every time he goes to a bar. Then again, maybe that is why he has been doing such coquettish things to me.
A few more thoughts later and I decided it was time for me to go back to the room. Maybe Dean cooled down and realized he was just overreacting about a kiss.
When I opened the motel door, the lights were off but my eyes adjusted to the dark. Dean was asleep again and Sam was snoring on the floor. I guess I won't be sleeping with him tonight.
                              ::
"Rise and shine! Time to start the day and find Lucifer!"
I groaned at the sound of the loud voice talking at such an early time in the morning. "What time is it?" I closed my eyes and covered my head with the blanket.
"It is now," Dean paused. "One p.m."
My eyes shot open at how late in the day it was already. I jumped out of bed and I hopped over the empty spot on the floor where Sam was sleeping last night. I opened the bathroom door to see Sam fixing his sleep hair. I stopped at the door and he turned around and smiled at me. I smiled back at him as he kept his eyes on me when he began to leave the bathroom.
"Bathroom is all yours." He said finally breaking our eye contact. I blushed when he was out of the restroom and my face was red when I looked at my reflection. I brushed my teeth and washed my face, promising to shower when we were all done with this Lucifer thing. I picked my hair up into a decent looking ponytail and walked back out.
Sam was no longer in the room but Dean was sitting on his motel bed, ready in his FBI suit. He was checking his guns that he had in his duffel bag and made sure that some had rock salt bullets and the others had regular bullets. He looked up at me then back to his guns, not giving me a single word.
I sighed as I stared at him. "Are you going to give me the silent treatment until we get back to the bunker?"
Once again, he only looked at me and then went back to his guns.
"Dean? Talk to me please." I pleaded and I watched him put his guns to the side.
"What do you want me to say Marissa?"
It took me a while to think about it. "I don't know! Just tell me anything! Just please don't stop talking to me. I don't even know what I did wrong."
"Forget it. Drop it. We have work to do." Dean put his guns back inside the duffel bag and walked out of the room, leaving me confused.
As soon as I was dressed, I walked out the room and into the parking lot where the Impala was parked. I got into the backseat and I seen Sam was in his suit as well. He was researching something on his phone and Dean was eyeballing me through his rear view window. I rolled my eyes at how immature he was being. If he doesn't want to tell me what I did wrong, then I am going to act like I did nothing wrong.
"Hey Sammy, watchu' lookin' up?" I peaked over his shoulder to see what was on his phone.
"Just looking for the place that they sent Wallace's body to." I sat back into the seat, my mouth forming an "o". "Found the address. Here, I will put it on my GPS."
Dean started driving and after about twenty minutes, we reached a hospital. "Stay here. If we are really working with Crowley and Cas like you said we were, then we have to keep you away from him as much as possible." Dean stared at me and I could see that hurt was in his eyes, which puzzled me even more.
After both guys left me in the car, I waited and waited and I was starting to get restless and impatient. How long could these guys take? We already know how this goes down.
"Hello sweetheart." The unexpected voice made me jump in the seat. I looked at who appeared, and to my luck, it was Crowley with an evil grin plastered on his face.
I turned quickly to open the door and run like hell, but the doors locked and I wasn't able to unlock them. I turned slowly to the bearded man next to me. "P-Please don't hurt me."
"I won't sweetheart. I actually came to tell you some news!" He spoke with cheer in his voice, which only frightened me more.
"Have you ever wondered about your father?" He asked.
I shook my head and replied. "He died when I was born."
"That is actually not true," I waited for him to continue. He could either be lying to me or telling me the truth. This can go either way. "He is currently around this area."
I furrowed my eyebrows and shook my head at his lie. "Why would I believe you? You tried to kill me and threatened to hurt my mom."
He laughed and continued to talk. "True. I just thought you would like to know. Soon you will find out who he is." He vanished into thin air, not allowing me to ask him anymore questions.
I seen Sam, Dean, and Cas come running out of the building like if they were running to get first place in a race. They opened the car doors in a rush and sighed a breath of relief when they all seen me sitting in the car. "Oh thank god you're okay Marissa." Dean said as he slowed down his hyperventilation.
I creased my eyebrows together. "Why wouldn't I be?"
"Crowley said he knew you were in the car and he locked all three of us in the room. We thought he was going to hurt you. Did he talk to you?" Cas asked me.
"Yeah he did. He appeared in the car and started talking to me about my dad. He told me that my dad was here, around this area."
Both guys and the angel gave me a confused look. "Your dad? What does that have to do with this Lucifer case?" Sam asked me.
I shrugged my shoulders. "Could he have been telling me the truth? I always thought my dad was dead. Or at least, that's what my mom always told me."
"Demons lie, Ris. But Crowley, you can never be too sure when he tells us things." Sam stated.
"Speaking of my mom, who is watching her if you're here with us Cas?"
"I asked another angel if they could watch over her for me for a little bit. They are a good friend of mine. Don't worry. They will keep her safe. They also have more angel power than I do."
I sat back in the seat and we all headed back to the motel.
