"Never." He stated quickly.
"You didn't even think about it." I was a little upset by his quick response.
"I don't have to. Being open with myself and my psychic powers took me to a dark place. I did horrible things and it made me free Lucifer. So no, I would never do it again."
"Hm okay. Next question. If Amara gave you the chance to bring back your mom or your dad, who would you bring back?"
Sam waited to answer my question. I looked at him as I waited for his answer, and I could see that he was really thinking about what to say.
"That's a hard one. I never met my mother and only knew what she looked like from pictures I've seen. My father, well he was really tough on me, as you probably know. We had a love-hate relationship but I was so heartbroken when he died for Dean."
He paused again and continued to think. I looked back at the road and waited patiently for his answer.
                              "My dad."
I raised my brows and looked back at him. "Your dad? Why?"
"When my mom came back, she was here for a few days and then decided to take off because she needed to adjust. I didn't even have enough time to get to know her. I mean, obviously she didn't care enough to stay, right?"
I nodded my head. He was right. If Mary cared more for her children than herself, she would've stayed and allowed her sons to help her adjust. Then again, she missed out on 22 years of her life. Just because she died, doesn't mean the world stopped turning. I understand that it could have been difficult for her. That was such a troubling episode for me.
"But she did come back." I told Sam. "She came back just like she said she was going to. Where is she by the way? I didn't see her at the bunker."
"She took a case in New York. She begged us not to come with her. She said she wanted to do this one on her own." Sam sighed as he finished his sentence and slightly frowned.
"At least you know where she is." I added.
Sam nodded his head in response and I sat back comfortably in my seat. I felt I was asking too many questions and decided to give it a rest.
Sam looked at me and laughed. "No more questions?"
I shook my head. "Nope," I said as I popped the 'P'. "At least not for now. I'll save the questions for later. I think I've asked enough."
"Okay my turn then. When did you start watching us?"
"In 2008. With two of my best friends. The show originally came out in 2005 but I was too late to the party and watched it on Netflix."
"Wow. 2005. That's the year Jess died." His voice got lower at the mention of Jess.
I tried to change the subject. I don't think I can bare to see him sad. "It was one of the best shows I've watched if that counts for anything."
Sam smiled, showing his teeth. "Really? That's pretty cute that you're our little fangirl."
I furrowed my eyebrows and turned towards him. "Cute? Becky was a fangirl and you thought she was scary."
He laughed out loud, his laugh filling the air and making my heart flutter. I love this man. "She also tied me to a bed with no pants or underwear on! Let's not forget that she made me drink some love potion to make me stay in love with her! And we got married!"
We both laughed together and it felt good to talk and laugh with someone while I'm in the situation that I'm in. "That was pretty smart actually. I would've never thought of that. But I'm more impressed by how she even got you to drink that stuff."
"Okay I still have more questions," he began to say. "Who was your favorite character?"
I hesitated to answer. I don't want to say him because that's a little embarrassing and maybe a little stalkerish. But then I don't want to say Dean because it might hurt his feelings. It's definitely not Castiel anymore because he's annoying.
"You." I quickly said. "Next question!"
"Woah, hold on there. I was your favorite? Why? I was a bad person. Like a villain."
I snorted. "A villain? You've done more good than bad. Just because people die when you don't want them to doesn't mean you're a bad person. You are such a brave person, Sam. Like you said, your demon powers took you to a dark place, but you pulled yourself out of that dark place. You always proved everyone wrong. Remember when they said you would die if you broke down those walls that covered the memories from when you were in hell? Guess what? You lived! You're a loving person for everyone you come in contact with and you love your brother so much. I could only wish to be half the person you are."
"Thanks Marissa." He rested his hand on my thigh and my cheeks began to heat up. Thank goodness it's night out, otherwise he would be able to see my red tomato face.
"One more question and then I'll be done." He removed his hand from my leg making me whimper inside my head at the loss of contact.
"What was the last episode you watched?"
"Oh, it was when Lucifer took over the President's vessel."
Sam slammed his foot on the breaks causing me to almost slide off the seat. Damn these classic cars not having any seat belts. "He did what?!" He screamed at my face and it almost made me scared to answer.
"Oh no! I wasn't supposed to tell you. It hasn't happened yet!" I exclaimed. I put my hands to my mouth to stop me from saying anything else.
"Marissa, did you just say that Lucifer took over the President's vessel?" Sam pulled my hands from my mouth, allowing me to talk clearly. His vein was practically sticking out on both sides of his neck and I swear he might actually explode.
I spoke. "Maybe." My voice came out squeakier than I had intended it to.
"We need to get home. Now."
Sam made a sharp U-turn and headed back onto the street in the opposite direction of the clothes store.
"What about my clothes?" I stammered. I didn't want to wear the same clothes for a few more days.
"Charlie left some clothes at the bunker when she would stay the night. Since she wasn't ever able to take her clothes back home, they've been boxed up in a closet. You could wear those."
Those were the last words that were shared until we reached the bunker.
                              ********
"You said not to ask her what she knew because it would interfere with the freaking future! Dammit Sam!"
"We were asking eachother questions! It was harmless. I didn't think it would lead to her telling me something that hadn't happened already Dean!"
Both men were arguing back and forth. I finally got my shower but now I was wearing a dead girls' clothes, not to mention her underwear too. I was sitting down at the table in the library watching the two men bicker back and forth like a married couple as I picked at a sandwich that I had made.
"So what do we do then? Ask her every detail?" Sam asked Dean.
Dean ran his fingers though his hair. I could tell he was stressed. He had to deal with finding out what Crowley wants with me and now having to deal with Lucifer once again. This is all my fault.
"You know, I think I'll head to one of the rooms." I broke the silence.
"No, you're keeping your little butt right here." Dean said. "You need to tell us every detail about that last episode you watched of us."
"Every detail?! All I do is watch the show! I'm not the one who wrote it! Why don't you go ask the person who wrote the story line!"
"Unfortunately we can't! He's too busy being a brother to the freaking darkness." Dean sat down on a chair and sighed.
"Alright. Okay. I'll try my hardest to remember. It's a long episode so have your pen and paper ready."
