 Terrence (POV)

I had to lie to Felicia about last night, I couldnt let her know that I was fully aware of kissing her. Being drunk just intensified my want of her. She looked so beautiful and innocent, and when I caught her starting at me my whole insides just went crazy with lust. 

Im not quite sure yet how she feels about me and if it's even in a romantic way. I have too much to think about before I tell her how I feel. I mean were about to move in together, and if she doesnt see me the way I see her it could be a diaster. I cant lose her, she's all I have left in this fucked up world. 

I stood outside her bedroom door, debating on wether I should go back in there and tell her the truth and see where it goes. But I stop myself and head out to my car, I had to sit here an figure out what Im gon do about James cheating on my mom. I'm really not surprised that he cheated, but I am surprised he's cheating with Felicia's mom. I couldn't very well go home and confront him with no place to live afterwards. I pull out my phone to look up my bank account to see just how much money I have saved up. $3987.62 is what it read, I think that's enough to get us going for a few months, plus I know Felicia has money saved too. I pull out the drive way and head to these apartments on fifth ave that said rooms for rent.

I walk in to the rental office to see this fine young woman sitting at the desk playin with her hair and talking on the phone.

"Girl Im done, he's done fucked me over for the last time, shit Im a strong independent woman who doesn't need a man to make me happy. You feel me!" " She sees me and her eyes grow wide. 

"Oh girl I gotta go I got a customer, yea yea Okay hmu lata girl bye"

She looks at me and smiles, and boy does she have a beautiful smile. Oh and them lips look so suckable. Damn Im thinking bout this broad too much and I don't even know her name.

"Hi My name is Terrence and I was lookin to get an apartment here if ya'll still have a vacancy" She just kept staring at me without saying anything. So I decide to repeat myself.

"Hi my name is Terrence.."

"Terrence ya I know, Im sorry I was in a daze for a moment. Brotha you fine!" Her eyes get big once she realized what she said to me.

"Omgsh Im so sorry, I didn't mean to say that..and yes we do have a few apartments available."

"It's aight I'm used to it.." I just lied but she didn't have to know that. Im not the type of nigga to go after females, Im shy when it comes to getting woman. Maybe that's why I've never actually had a girlfriend.

"I bet you are,(she laughs) we have a 1 bedroom studio for $375 and you pay electric. Our 2 bedroom is $550 all utilities included w/ a balcony. We only have one 3 bd available but it wont be ready till the middle of next month. What exactly are you looking for?"

I know the 1bd wouldn't work, me and Felicia cant share a bed and that small of a space, but that 2bd is kinda pricey for me right now. I could afford it now but what if shit gets bad and one of us looses our job. Well shit that would be with any price, so I decide to go for the 2bd.

"Im gon go ahead and shoot for the 2bd, what is the soonest I can be moved in?"  She looks at the computer and asks me a few questions about where I work, how much I make and who will be living in the apartment with me.

"Uh her name is Felicia Winters, I have her information too if you need it." She gets this look on her face like she's upset to hear that there will be a female living with me.

"Yes I will need her information to as a co-head of household. Umm will you be using the second bedroom as a guest bedroom?" I look at her like is she basically asking me if Felicia will be occupying a room with me, because I know that's not a general question.

"Umm, that's not really important is it?." I mean theres no harm in me answering the question, but I didnt really think it's any of her business. Even if she is cute as fuck, Im cool on the nosy shit. 

"Oh ok (she smiles) Well take these forms to fill out yalls info  and bring them back when you move in. I normally don't do this because my Uncle who owns the place is a real hard ass but I trust that you and your roomate will be good tenants just don't make me out to be wrong." She says as she hands me the keys to my new apartment. I cant believe she's letting me move in without even doing a background or credit check. This is exactly what I needed to happen today. I can confront James and not have to worry about being homeless afterwards. Then once I do that I can pick up Felicia and take her to our new home.

"Terrence are you in there? Hello?" She says while waving her hand in front of my face. I then realized I was in deep thought about my plans I forgot where I was. "Yea my bad, thank you umm..what is your name?" "Dede..Dede Martinez"

By the time it was all said and done with she had given me the keys to the apartment, with the paperwork and her phone number. I was having the best day so far and I couldnt wait to tell Felicia we have a place to call home now, away from our parents. I dont want to see what the apartment looks like without Felicia, I figure we will see it for the first time together. Now I have to head to moms and get this shit with James solved once and for all.

Felicia's POV

"FELICIA....FELICIA" I heard my mother screaming at me from downstairs. I look at my ipod Terrence left for me on my nightstand and saw that it was 5:38pm. I cant believe I slept my whole day away.

"Felicia did you not hear me call your name? Shit I practically screamed it and you sitting there lookin at ya ipod like I aint say shit"

She stood in my door way with one hand on her hip and the other holding herself up against the door way. All I could do was look at her and roll my eyes, I'm really tired of her treating me like Im a child. It was my day off from everything and I deserved to stay in the bed if I wanted to.

"Ma I just woke up when you screamed my name, and I have my ipod because I wanted to see what time it was. What you want anyways?"

"Girl dont get sassy wit me, you laid up in that damn bed all day and didn't do shit around this house like I told you to do"  I cant wait to move out because when I do she wont have any control over me and I will never talk to her again.

" Why I got to get up on my day off to clean a house I never dirty up? I wash my own dishes and clothes, I stay in my room and don't bother nobody. What exactly should I be cleaning? Yo mess?" I knew when I said that she would explode on me but its the truth. I am not her maid or her personal punching bag.

"What has gotten into you? Your lil cousin boyfriend of yours got you feelin tough now? Like you can just talk to me any kinda way.. Let me tell you something you lil bitch, as long as you live under my roof I'll talk to you any way I fuckin want to. You don't run shit I DO. Now get yo ass up and clean up this damn house. Im going out to dinner, don't clean and see how much worse I can make your life."

She slams my door shut and stomps down the hall. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. I cant put up with her any longer, I really hope Terrence and I can move real soon. Speaking of Terrence I haven't heard from him. No messages on my iPod and I know he wouldn't call momma's phone. I started to worry that maybe something happened when he went home.

Hey Invisible readers, I want to keep writing this story but it's my first book and Idk if this is something you guys are wanting to read. I haven't had any feed back yet so Im a lil nervous that maybe it sucks.. Im going to keep writing a few more chapters in hopes that I can AT LEAST GET A COMMENT.. For those reading it , thank you.. I'd say I love my fans but hey I don't have any yet LOL...
